Idk I’m a very weird person.... I don’t like top 100 Shit. Granted I listen to Foo Fighters and they’re still one of the biggest bands right now but I either don’t care or make an excuse that it’s not totally mainstream for someone my age to like them. Isn’t a good way of thinking but it’s my flawed logic and I’m a flawed person.
I guess I just have a rigid view that this is too popular for me to like when in reality I guess I’m wrong. This is no more popular than Metalcore.
And in reality it’s not as popular as Foo Fighters.
I guess it just makes sense in my brain that anything with a band isn’t popular and rap is.... but I’m dead wrong.
So I gotta get over that issue
Second I have a rigid opinion that any rapper (Not Nu Metal / Nu Metalcore / Rap Metal) that even remotely does anything resembling hardcore or punk isn’t doing it because they actually like the culture or the music....
That’s clearly not true either but it makes sense to me
I’m just scared to stray away from bands in favor of rap. I wanna be that guy who likes what isn’t mainstream and apparently this is it.
I mean it’s not garbage like what’s on top 100 now but I have a feeling eventually this is gonna get too mainstream for me to want to listen to it.

I know NASCAR should be on this label because it’s less in the way of executive creative control and I think Brett Gurewitz did a good think signing him
