I think they are irrelevant. Haven’t won a title in over 35 years but still claim to be a powerhouse in today’s game.

@@Whodatandamericasteam you guys don't get it. They are relevant because they make money. People watch, and that is all the CFP and ESPN care about. They still bring eyeballs and spenders.
Relevance has nothing to do with championships. It's always money. Always.

0:36 I like that more teams from conferences that will likely produce good games in a playoff situation, rather than the Big Fish in a Little Pond Team VS The Traditional POWERHOUSE Team games. We've seen how those kind of games have ended. So that is the positive thing I will say about the expansion. More teams will always make a playoff more

So it's my best guess that 9 maybe 10 teams from these conferences and depending on how well Notre Dame does are already decided on out of 12 (14 possible) teams that would be represented.
I hope I am wrong about this, and there is more objectivity going into the selection of these teams.
But also let's not kid ourselves there are most certainly conferences that bring more eyes, money, publicity and in the end, customers to the NCAA than other conferences. So I do understand the logic in making major influencers as far as the college reach is concerned more influential on the process when it comes to this.

Irish get screwed. They are the A side . They should get equal share. The tv numbers notre dame blow the rest out. This is stupid pay each team that actually make it not the rest of the garbage conferences
Not really. If ND needed their money they would not have remained independent. See here is what is important to Notre Dame. Inclusion in the playoff system. As long as they are not shut out, they can keep their independence.
Conference membership has its advantages and disadvantages. The conference has yearly matchups that the networks can promote and advertisers love. Independents are on their own. Notre Dame isn’t going to get conference CFP shares until it joins a conference. I’ve been told that Notre Dame have their own revenue sources and doesn’t need to concern itself with these CFP distribution payouts. Their only concern is their path to the playoff.
They are just ruining College Football it's already bad this will make it really bad.
Oh and get rid of that stupid ending with the irrelevant music. Needs to be like a marching band playing in the background or something else that is relevant to college football.
