Harden dominates the ball, but he makes decisions quickly, and that's the difference. He doesn't just stand there, wait for the defense to finish rotating, and then get to work. That extra half second Melo takes just stagnates offenses, especially with the way teams play nowadays.

Yes and no. Melo was a more talented scorer but Wade was far better off ball/cutting and had a much higher IQ while also being alot better at playing within the flow of an offense. So yes technically Melo is a more talented scorer but I don't think I would necessarily agree that he's a way better scorer if that makes sense. Wade's a better offensive player overall tho due to his passing ability

As a Syracuse fan, Melo will always have a special place in upstate NY's heart. That being said, Anthony skill was never in question. What was in question was his attitude, and inability to adapt to a lesser role, his ego didn't match his skill. I think he will prove that his time away from the Association humbled him. I really was hoping the Lakers would sign him for a veteran minimum.
