So many people are saying there was a poor translation or mistake in this video.
First, about the phrase. โ€œJessica, I can feel the soul of the black people from your voice, you will gonna be a star.โ€
In 2009, Jessica Ho said this at an interview with KOREA media named "Newsen".
Next is the address of that article.
    news.v.daum.net/v/20090121081206960?s=print_news
Next is the original Korean article and translation of it.
    KOREAN (1) :

    TRANSLATION (1) :
"Originally, when I was a kid, my dream was to be a fashion designer. But when I was in middle school music class, I met a black music teacher that changed my life. At that time, the teacher asked me to sing, so I just sang, but the black teacher said, "I can feel the black people's soul from your voice.". I sing very well. It gave me confidence, and from then on I wanted to become a singer."

    TRANSLATION (2) :
Jessica H.O. said this in a recent interview with Newsen, and recalled, "I think the teacher was really surprised because Asians have such a voice. I still vividly remember how surprised the black teacher at the time was hearing my voice." Jessica H.O. became interested in music after that incident and soon fell in love with it. This soon led to an opportunity, which led to a connection with a Korean agency and becoming a singer in Korea.
This phrase is a well-known thing in Korea.
"Jessica, I can feel the soul of the black people from your voice, you will gonna be a star.โ€
"๋„ค ๋ชฉ์†Œ๋ฆฌ์— ํ‘์ธ์˜ ์†Œ์šธ": means "black people's soul in your voice", not "soulful voice"
So many people are saying that we translated mistakenly. No, it's not.
    Jessi said this by herself.
But we made a mistake in another part.
Not the "Relationship" with Yoo Jae-suk, but the "Friendship"
this was the only mistake in the video.

It's also worth noting that P-Nation is not your typical K-Label. They're basically giving the middle finger to the K-Pop establishment. No more was this apparent when they picked up both Hyuna & EDawn.
After a very public and ugly departure from Cube Entertainment. To see both of them now is really almost a Renaissance. Hyuna's open relationship with EDawn is of no consequence.
Almost reminds me of E.Via aka Tymee equally ugly abusive departure from D-Line Art Media. Another completely worthless label not deserving of her talents. To hell with old outdated K-Pop standards as Hyuna is such a Diva now.
I see a similar spark in Jessi as well!! P- Nation is changing the status quo and frankly it's about freaking time. K-Pop industry has always had tremendous talent but it's run like a Mafia. Time for change is in the air!! :b
