We was always going to struggle up top without Son, Sarr and Bissouma were missed in that midfield also, they deserved the win and it's no disgrace going out to City.

It was so frustrating to watch because Werner got in so many good positions to run behind but Udogie was slow on the release. We had to use Werner more often he was the only option we really had to strike at City.
Werner is not the same rapid player he was. He looks so slow and out of form. Doubt anything would have happened if those passes were made. Walker had him on lock

Just watched it back because I didn't realise it was even a contentious point, Dias doesn't "back into" Vicario. He moves towards the ball (forwards) and then stops, he doesn't back up at any point. There's no rule that says he has to get out of Vicarios way.
Backing into players when they're in the air is really dangerous, Kane used to do it a lot and I don't really remember Ex having a problem with that, but what Dias did wasn't backing into the keeper and this is coming from someone that would much rather see Spurs win the cup than City, not that Spurs were ever going to win it, but my point still stands.
