Like if you'd enroll in a burger class taught by George!
100%.
That was a good video... but was totally waiting for the close-up of the cross-section, showing that smoke ring?!
is this an It's alive ripoff
I'll fly halfwar across the earth for this man's tutelage
Definitely
Thank you FwF, a George Motz show is long overdue!!
Just came from your butter noodle video. Good work!
Get outta 'ereeeeeeeeeee
Babish I see you are a man of burger culture
One legend to another. Nice!
You definitely have to make a cameo in this show! Two of my fav youtubers im one show? Ill die happy!
"I'm not gonna feed ya bird...go **** yourself..." I died, lol
I had to pause the video just to see who would comment on his bird remark. I am still laughing!
@@ggfox1574 same here!
I did too lmfao
Greg Gladden yup I had to see who noticed haha
It just makes me wonder? Is this an on going war? Is the crow always harassing him when he's grilling? I want more details!
The uncut, unexpected events that are happening as the camera's rolling is making this more awesome.
Love me some more Motz.
I disagree
right! the plane, the wind, the bird he told to fuck off (i choked on my food) the dog.... 🤣 I love it!
@@yolamdynodoloes3411 lmao ok
Reminds me of Sam the cooking guy. Kinda semi uncut cooking show. Not everything's squeaky clean and perfect
@@AngelaDavis78 The dog especially, he looked like he was robbing the place
George is the cool uncle at a family bbq
WOAH WOAH WOAH!!! Let me get this perfectly straight: You comment something that is completely unrelated to the fact that I have two HAZARDOUSLY HOT girlfriends? Considering that I am the unprettiest KRplusr worldwide, it is really incredible. Yet you did not mention it at all. I am VERY disappointed, dear dinge
AxxL
ok
He is most fun after we had some fun in the basement
Thijs Roseboom yawn
Woah woah woah Axxl. What does that have to do with burgers my guy. Also no one gives a damn that you have two girlfriends so just sit back and watch the wolverine cook
Old retired Wolverine cooks burgers in the backyard
Nice
Hugh Jackman loves his beef
Nah. Old retired Goku. This dude looks and sounds like Sean Schemmel.
Old man Logan does it again:P
Best comment.
There is something about a man with hair like this mans that lets ppl know he knows everything about a specific subject.
Once you become a master of one thing the hair naturally grows this way
too busy to be worrying about their own specific subject to be worried about their hair..
Definitely looks like an expert in whatever subject he's talkin about LOL
Einstein has it, Bob Ross had it... Coincidence? I think not...
Actually, their brains are filled with so much expert knowledge that it overflows into the hair to contain it all. True stories.
Doc from back to the future
"I'm not gonna feed ya bird..." Hahaha great comment. Great humor as always
I smelled tasty burgers, man. you didn't have to be so rude
It's ok berd
What the werrd
peepee poopoo
Lol
Haven’t you heard? Berd is the werd.
I really like how he strikes a nice balance between fun and somewhat eccentric middle aged guy and the I'll kill your entire family if you disrepect my burgers kinda vibe.
Batman's rogues gallery always have an obsession over something. His would be hamburgers.
@@alissa6 The Hamburglar is already taken.
Yeah! I mean. This guy is the American equivalent of James May.
@@GerdJanvdG that is a shockingly apt comparison that i would have never thought to make???
George Motz is the real Hamburglar
"Sit down and, smell the smoke..."
"-WOURGH ORUHUR HUR"
Actually laughed out loud at that. George is hilarious
That coughing portion at the beginning and all the interruptions of noises, yeah...that’s every time I’m cooking. Only the interruptions are kids and bugs, what’s the difference though? 😂😂😂
He caught me off guard when he told the bird off🤣🤣
His voice makes you crave real American burgers so much! Lots of love USA from Italy!
Finally they just have George doing the burger show, makes it ten times better.
To the Sound Effect editor: you need a raise.
Bann B. Spot on
he really did flip the bird
JaykobTV I love Uncle Motz
Loving that George has his own series now, except he's making me very, very hungry. (Have been loving the evolution of your hair, George. Seriously. Looked great last video, this one looks like it's time for a trim.)
Jorj
Fuck a trim! Let the genius ride! Haha!
I could never wait 50 mins for a burger lol
George Motz is a blessing to this world. A show starring him is very much welcomed.
I love how he's mastered this stance for cooking up burgers.
This guy looks like he speaks in riddles
No, he speaks in griddles.
OhSlowpoke aaaaaayyyyyy
@@ohslowpoke4720 you win.
No he speaks hamburjer
Theo P lol amazing reference
The editing in this video is absolutely glorious.
This is absolutely one of the best things to come out of quarantine
These videos are my favorite, I’ve honestly become so much more passionate about hamburgers since the first videos with Motz (as well as Kenji) that y’all did a few years ago. Preaching the gospel of the smash burger, learning more about regional varieties... THIS IS MY RELIGION
I love this guy! So much passion, character, and knowledge. Stay safe, burger bro!
George's laugh makes me smile.
Jorj
This guy has the voice, charisma, and knowledge. Top host
So glad George has his own show. I could listen to him talk about burgers all day.
I love that he's actually using the same model grill that I have. Makes this whole tutorial so much easier to follow.
This guy is so positive. We need his influence in our lives.
Motz is the man. Whoever edits these is also really great.
50 MINUTES!
I love you George. Big fan since 2012. Aussie who lived in Houston 10yr ago and ate at Guys MM . Prof Motz, Never change and never feed that bird.
I love that George doesn’t feel the need to use bullshit descriptors and superlatives to describe his food. “Hmm oh yeah that’s good” is all I need to know that this burger tastes great
Jorj
“Oh yeah this burger is good as shit” is all i need to hear to determine whether or not a burger is good
Anytime I see a George Motz video in my recommended, I click. It is reflex.
Jorj
It’s automatic!!!
This man is so chaotic.. the chaotic energy he has is soooo 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
George, research is awesome . This channel is going to be great . Thank You so much for sharing your wisdom. Looking forward to this channel.
I was wondering where this week's Burger Scholar Sessions were. And was rewatching a few of em. And VOILA. HALLELUJAH
u actually wanna position the vent over the meat is that the smoke travels across it. the stock thermometer on the weber kettle aint great.
I don't even eat meat, and I can't stop watching George and his new, awesome show!! Love it!!
This guy is a genius !! .... Best thing on KRplus. Original, genuine and fun to watch. Should have a longer show.
The burger sessions are great, however I'd love to see a closeup of the finished product. I mean, you can't mention a smoke ring and not show it. That's a rule, isn't it?
no
I thought the same thing! Want to see a nice cross section.
a close up cross section of the finished burger is all that is missing from this video...
Smoke ring! But I'm not gonna show it.
That made a bit mad tbh
I absolutely love this serie George!
This series has been incredible!!!!
I absolutely love George’s work but if you want genuine Texas barbecue taste you can’t use that super sweet brown sauce, that’s Kansas City style barbecue sauce. Texas barbecue sauce is tomato based, it’s a lot redder, a bit thinner, and way more peppery.
I live in Texas, can confirm. Lots of pepper.
Gunnar only if you prefer pork to beef, which I don’t. Pulled pork is great and all but absolutely nothing beats a 12 hour smoked brisket.
I love a good brisket, but I live for pork ribs. I'm not a very good Texan.
@@gokuss15 15 hours 225
@Gunnar That's the thing - Texas is known for smoking, not their sauces.
I could watch this series for the rest of my life.
guys meat market will always hold a special place in my heart, my dad used to take my brother and i there after doctors appointments when we were kids, he managed to get a hold of some of there seasoning mix a few years back and we have slowly been reverse engineering it ever since, it takes those burgers from good to GREAT
Really loving this series! George Motz is a real character, absolutely love his reactions when he tries his own burgers
George: "Any kind of bbq sauce"
My brain: "SWEET BABY RAYS, ALWAYS"
I was seriously thinking the same thing.
I like Stubbs
smokin those meats
SBR and Stubb's definitely 2 of the best bottled sauces
Sweet Baby Rays 10/10!!
2:16 You want to place the vent above the meat, as you want to pull the smoke over your meat.
The way you have it most of the smoke will go out the vent.
That makes sense but then his thermometer would be on the wrong side. Perils of using a kettle grill for smoking I suppose. External thermometer?
@@darkwater234 Yeah you can use an external thermometer if you want.
The grill temperature doesn't matter much as you want blue smoke over hitting the right temperature. A few degrees isn't going to matter too much.
I've enjoyed all of his burger videos so far, but this is one I'm definitely going to make this summer. Keep em coming Motz!
These Burger Scholar vids are just so fun to watch!
Editting, George Motz, lighting, sound, it's all so good!
How do we get George and Brad leone together in an episode.
They have done an episode together

@@gdawgs101 oh yeah, I have actually seen it too 🥴

George needs something to fermented to make it happen. After quarantine of course
Pay them.
Jorj and who?
He's like an awkward, trying to be funny dad with a secret passion... and it just works...
Are you Todd Howard?
@@SuperSoapLP no but i used to be an adventurer tho
@@reviewsofanthonyfantanosre7461 i will respect weird passions all day, as long as they come from a genuine and studious place!
I think part of it is he may be delivering lines to his daughter/camera operator since she's there as opposed to just the camera lens. He gets realtime reactions that way.
@@reviewsofanthonyfantanosre7461 took an arrow to the knee didnt ya
Loving this series. Keep them coming!
One of the best parts of First We Feast!
Definitely a slow cooked way to make a burger, not surprised that it comes from Texas. Another great way to make a burger slowly and I will add this to my list of ways to make a burger. Love the episode and it always makes me want a Burger, I am a fan of the Juice Lucy .
It makes sense. Smoking meat is king in that area
The Bob Ross of burgers just gonna put a little pickle on top
"What this burger needs is a big ol' tree right in front of it..."
@@AndyGait What would be the proper bravery test for burger condiments? I say strawberry jam. It's amazing with pickled hot peppers.
Love this show! It’s fantastic, don’t stop.
Hands down best videos on KRplus right now. Absolutely love George Motz and his style of presenting information. He makes burgers seem transformational! So good!
He looked the same time the dog barked instantly 😂
Haha I noticed that too. I almost wondered if it was added in post
George: I'm gonna smoke a burger.
* wind picks up *
GOD: SAVE ME ONE!!!
We love you, Motz! You're the man!
I’m so glad George is doing this. I’ve been a fan since his short-lived show on Travel Channel. It’s great that he’s sharing his burger knowledge with the masses.
Looks good.
The vent should be placed above the burgers to allow the smoke to pass over the meat, not straight out of the grill.
Absolutely
Man I love this guy so much. Great show.
I love all these George videos. Hope this becomes a main staple of the channel after quarantine.
keep this going until the end of times
Just a happy little burger. - Bob Ross
Check out the food at My Hungry Family.
such a great series, keep it up!
I actually really like this style. With the airplanes (and birds) left in, it makes it seem a little improvisational, which actually seems to work for George's vibe really well. Keep it up!
Watch out Sean, George is coming for your "best host" award...
We need an "every way to cook a burger" by George Motz video just like another super popular youtube channel.
No we don't
Yes we do
thanks for being the most real unbiased burger dude that really has helped my burger-game. your videos helped me convince my wife we need a flat grill, so thanks
THE VIDEO EDIT IS JUST PHENOMENAL. GREAT JOB!!!!!
Wheres my close up? That burger needs a close up! I needs to see the beefy glory, all the beefy glory..... closer mhmhmmm #Awesome :P

If Johnny Knoxville and Bob Ross had a child it would be George Motz.
Most underrated comment! So true now i cant unsee it
I'm not gonna lie and say I've watched every one (at this rate I might just get there), but this is already my all time favorite KRplus series. I just never realized how much I like burgers 😂
Ya I'm a big fan of George... these different burger techniques are awesome...
air vent should be over the meat. smoke is going straight up and leaving the grill and not over the meat.
it's shut. unless the flames die down, then he opens it up to direct air on the coals to heat up.
Today I learned that Crocodiles are one of the oldest living species, having survived for more than 200 million years.
Don't give me random facts
Subscribed for Hot Ones. Stayed for George Motz. This man is so entertaining to watch.
I love this man and his love for burgers
That's almost exactly what I did yesterday here in Texas. How creepy.
Well id rather smoke some marijuana, but I'll settle for smoking a burger...
Why not have the best of both worlds!?
@@Rainingsandstone so true... You got the right idea😃
