Grey's Anatomy has been a part of my life since it first came on in 2005. I would see the promos for it when my grandma would watch her soaps in the afternoons and I just knew I had to watch. No matter what happens, I always come back because I remember wanting to study medicine (which didn't end up happening) but I always wondered how the job affects your home life. And this show is about that. How what you go through even in your professional life, can go home with you. This show and characters have my heart so no matter how long it stays on the air, I'll be a fan. Even on the seasons I don't watch.
Miranda Bailey is the character sir that keeps the show going.. Her and Richard Webber ride or die since the beginning
I just love Chandra....she needs to have her hair like that on GA....I cant wait to see 2 hours of GA....I just love the show.....I binge it on Netflix all the time.....They cant get rid of her thats for darn sure....

@@sweetkey6987 because of that very reason. Addison is a fully fleshed out character. She even had her own spinoff. As much as I like Bailey they've never developed her character past the mad black woman stereotype. I mean literally the first thing she did on the last episode was yell at Amelia and Teddy(I think) about how the hospital can't function without her and nothing was done while she was on her vacation. We know so little about her past or what really makes her tick. Hell we know more about Richard's past than Bailey's.(like he was in love with Meredith's mom and almost left Adele for her and that he had yet another love child in Maggie) Everything we know about Bailey has come from the present. She's not the nazi anymore but really they've never moved on from that stereotype even if they stopped calling her that. Her OCD is from the present her heart problems are from the present. We rarely get to see her home life with Ben and their kids but they're supposedly the center of her world.
I am with you if Meredith leaves, good bye. There are other people to carry on and characters to develop. As long as Bailey, Richard, Maggie, Addison and the top interns stay I am good.
