They should have postpartum care centers everywhere! And include them in insurance cost. I had Zero help with my 4 children (even drove myself and birthed myself to the hospital with my last)and immediately came home the day after birth to cook and clean… its very difficult especially emotionally..

Your baby daddy should've helped you... or at least hired somebody to clean and take care of the other kids so you can rest a little (like a nanny and a maid)... Mothers go through so many hardships, the least thing he could've done was lessen those hardships or make you feel like you're not alone and you've got somebody you can depend on..

The postpartum care centre is breathtakingly amazing! So spacious and clean with everything you could ask for during your recovery stage! I have never seen these before. I wish every country had one!

I’m a postpartum nurse and it is so interesting to see the similarities and differences between this facility in South Korea and the hospital I work at in America. There were so many interesting and nice things I wish we would incorporate here! Congratulations on the birth of your beautiful baby!!

I was in labor for 4 days, but had a natural birth. I also tore, so I needed stitches. A postpartum care center, would’ve been a God sent BLESSING. It would certainly help lower postpartum depression, in a lot of new moms. Don’t worry about the weight. A lot of it, is accumulated water. Breastfeeding helps loose weight, it also contracts the womb, so everything is expelled. As well as lowering the risk for breast cancer. Don’t worry, you’ll be able to sleep properly, In about 3-4 years. It sounds like a lot. But time passes in the blink of an eye, for us mothers.

So true! I've been sleeping with my kids ever since they were born.. now they're 5 and 3.5yo, it's time for them to learn sleeping by themselves, and their room and beds will be ready to use this weekend..
I feel happy that they're big kids now, so proud that they're more independent, but some part of me feel sad too.. it's like they were born only days ago and i still want to hold them tight, i don't want to let them go.. :'(

Don't worry about weight remember it took you 9 months to get your body where it is and you supported two lives during that time. A postpartum center to stay at for two weeks would be amazing! When I had my children it was so hard and I was so exhausted! Of course every mom knows once you become a parent sleep is elusive.

산후조리원 내부가 미혼들은 좀 궁금했는데 ㅋㅋ 자세한설명감사해용 ㅎㅎ 아긔도귀엽고 순산축하드립니다^^ 아 맞다 !외국은 조리원이없다는대 독일에서 조리원 사업하세요 ㅋㅋㅋ
제가 알기로는 독일 산모들은 출산하고 바로 찬물 샤워해요. 그리고 걸어다녀요... 그래도 산후통이 없다며. 그만큼 신체구조가 우리와 다르다네요. 그래서 굳이 조리원이 필요없다고 하더라구요.
결론적으로 쉽게 노화가 옴...70대가 등산가는 비율이 한국이 높을까요??유럽이 높을까요??건겅도 관리...벌어지고 늘어난걸 잘 되돌려야...

Warum geht man denn nicht nach der Geburt des Kindes nach ein paar Tagen nach Hause, sondern in so ein Pflegezentrum
@@yvonnefuchs7448 kannst du doch machen. Alles freiwillig. Aber auch kostspielig. Es ist einfach eine riesen Hilfestellung für frischgebackene Mütter. Einige postnatale Center sind wie Luxus/Wellness Hotels aufgebaut (Wie Linda sagte: Massagen, tolles Essen, Therapien..).
Quasi eine Hebammenbetreung 24/7. Und gerade heutzutage, wo viele Paare zuhause dann nicht die Hilfe von zb der Großmutter in Anspruch nehmen können, ist so ein Center 1A.

@@yvonnefuchs7448 Ich finde das eine super Sache und wünschte, das gäbe es auch hier. Ich würde das sofort nutzen. Ich glaube daran, dass man schneller wieder auf dem Damm ist, wenn man sich auch um die Mama kümmert und ihren Körper pflegt. Das hilft auch der Seele. Gerade beim ersten Baby kann es bei vielen vorkommen, dass sie unsicher sind und so eine Pflege schätzen, denn der Mann kann das gar nicht so, ausser er arbeitet nicht. Aber ja, jedem das Seine. Ich finde es ganz toll.

I wish I had this with my kids. With my second child, my awful mother came to stay for two weeks right after I came home from the hospital after a long and medically complicated pregnancy with medical issues and bed rest…..and I had to wait on her and she was her awful self and didn’t even help with our toddler and I cried myself to sleep every night she was there wishing she was gone.
Then my mother in law and my sister in law came for a few days only. My mother in law used to run a day care and my sister in law was a labor/delivery nurse at the time and they were **AMAZING!** and so helpful without being intrusive and so loving and I wished they could have stayed longer.

What a gorgeous family! Roa couldn't be cuter...what a perfect little doll!! Amazed at the postpartum care you receive in Korea. We have nothing like that in the US! We stay 2 days in the hospital after a regular birth and 4 days for a c-section with no special care. We need to implement the Korean practices of postpartum care! @@sashademidova4209 They're paid for, it's not a free or insurance covered thing. They go from $2k to $10k depending on how high end you wanna go. Not many people can afford that sort of care and those which can, in any country, could go for a private care service at home probably..
@@Cybele09 In S. Korea, getting a postpartum service is common for everyone. Of course, there are expensive postpartum care centers for those who want and can afford it. Also, the costs vary depending on cities and regions/provinces.
The lowest, average and highest cost per 2 weeks in S. Korea is around $0.6K, $2K and $11K, respectively, according to a survey during 2020-2021. Actual costs may be much lower since many Korean mothers find it unnecessary to stay there for 2 weeks and thus choose shorter stays like a week or so, instead.

Ay yo no sabía que tenía que quedarse en el hospital por 2 semanas y encima en un cuarto bonito ay que bonitos son los hospitales en korea ahorita mismo agarró mis maletas y me voy a Seúl
No es un hospital. En corea, normalmente te quedas como 3 días posparto y la mayoría reserva entrar en estas instalaciones por 2 semanas. Te dan clases de como bañar al bebé, alimentarlo, cambiarle el pañal, yoga posparto y masajes. A parte el bebé lo mantienen en cuneros para que la madre se pueda relajar un poco mas.

Dealing with a sore body and a new baby was so hard.
I thought it was 48 hours? That is how long they wanted me to stay both times, but after 24 hours I was insisted that I would rather go home.
