I discovered that a couple of little kids have been doing this sort of thing since late 2015. I think the pranksters started mimicking them, and making videos that made even less sense. The kids' videos had storylines like Maleficent casting a spell that turns Anna and Elsa into mermaids, or even (I'm not making this up) pregnant pink Spidergirl giving birth to Baby Hulk.
The kids go by the name "SuperHeroes ForReal". Look them up. (There's a separate group, a family, going by the name "SuperHero Reality TV".) Check the dates of their videos, and look at the dates of the ones made by the adult pranksters. It's very clear: the kids did it first, and the adults copied them.

They each have there own iPads and we let them watch for about an hour before bed every night. They watch those frozen Elsa and Spider-Man shows all the time, I've caught glimpses. But I have never watched more than a minute or so.
