My grandfather loved Chopin. He died on Wednesday and listening to this makes me suffer a bit less.

In my childhood, I went to a piano academy in front of my house. There, always the sound of the piano could be heard through the cracks in the window. Chopin, Beethoven, Bach, Mozart, etc... It was as if the town was overflowing with vitality.
The songs that stayed by my side until the night to finish practicing the piano, when I went home, on a rainy day, when I went home through the road next to the academy, the songs that were always by my side when I was in elementary student. Watching this video makes me feel like I was facing my childhood. thank you

My father Buell Neidlinger had classical music festivals at his home and I was the only audience member. He was a brilliant Cellist and Bassist. Allan Vogel was on Oboe and he played Bach Piano for me.
My father used to smoke a joint on the weekend and play the first Bach Cello Suite for me. That is such a treasured memory.

My uncle, Allen Barker, was a concert pianist during his life. He played Chopin brilliantly. This reminds me of him. He taught me to play. Thanks.

And it takes me to other lands. I watch the beautiful lake view in the hammock, hills, snowy mountains take me here.

That's a beauty as much as you can get freak out. There are billions of peoples around the world but only a few part of them enjoying this gorgeous music. If you read this in a bad mood or even more if you lose your hope from life dont forget that Life doesnt mean being happy all the time or having people around you who loves you deeply. The only thing you need from this life is you came this world for first time and there wont be second chance. Enjoy as much as you can. Take a deep breath and feel yourself inside. Today is the first also last day of your life. Nail it in the eye. Take an action, dont forget the breathing.

How wonderful to live in a world with music... of all kinds, for all people. Thank you, Chopin, for practicing your piano.

While on tour with an American singing group, I was blessed to visit Chopin's birthplace in Poland back in the days of Communism. I remember it being outstandingly beautiful, like his music.

Breathe and meditate, think about life and how it is precious. Be aware of of your surroundings and feel lucky that we are here. That we are alive right now. Hear the calm chirping of the night time fireflies, weaving daintily in the night sky and the bright moon hung up like a massive light bulb. It's wonderful faint light guiding us out from a lost, confused way, clearing our stressed minds and refreshing it as if we were in a new calm, peaceful world. Think about the gentle touch and sound on the elegant keyboard, producing motivated calm music sounding beautiful and warms our hearts every second. Think about how wonderful life is. Think about how lucky we should fell that we have made it this far. Thank you everyone and like to show you pay your respects :).

hey you! if your feeling overwhelmed, thats okay. Try setting a 5 minute 'Exposure timer'. Part of any fear response in life can be diminished through exposing ourself to the thing we are avoiding, even in the smallest increments; you start at the smallest diving board before jumping off the top one right? Use this to face, head on, the document, inbox, powerpoint or reading that is calling for your attention.. Gaze at it with compassion, even if you feel a hundred daggers, notice them objectively and view it for 5 minutes. Good luck!

Made the bad decision to stop taking [piano lessons ..after 5 years....and doing well. Wanted to be in the school band and switched to the clarinet.! At least I have an appreciation of classical music to this day. And my young grandson keeps me on my musical toes because he plays the cello AND..the keyboards! Teacher says he has perfect pitch and at 12 can sight read any piece put before him.! Now listening before I go to sleep. True love of music never really dies.💋💋

Chopin composed the most pristine, sublime music I have ever had the pleasure to listen to. I know of no other composer like him. He seemed younger than his years and had a purity about his demeanor and his music. What a rare gift God blessed him with. His masterpieces will last forever.

The Art of pure love is the music 🎼 of the soul

Listening to this really makes my heart flatter ,Chopin's music always fills my mind with memories.
I remember her beautiful smile under the night sky lit by stars, a worthless conversation filled with her melodic laughter and giggles that make my heart skip a bit. I remember Her black eyes that seem to reflect the moon and her dark hair that was resting on her shoulders. How could you fall in love with someone that you spoke only once ?
In the next months through mutual friends I got to know her better . She was social and friendly, despite how introverted someone is , she could make anyone open up. Maybe that was the case with me , everytime we've talked my heart was singing great melodies, is this what liking someone is?
The summer went by and the cold winter brought happy memories and stressfull nights, the dark nights and freezing temperatures gave birth to a sense of loneliness that only she could melt. Her soft voice , the way she ate , her beautiful small frame and her helpless clumsiness all made me like her even more.
Listening to music and thinking of her became a daily activity. We continued to meet with our friend groups at a local cafe . I always sat close to the window gazing at the cars passing by and the different kinds of plants that decorated the cafe's entrance. Occasionally we would make eye contact and my mind would go blank for a second.
The spring came fast and plants and diferent kinds of flowers were blossoming everywhere. The refreshing spring breeze washed away any stressfull responsibilities and since the school exams came to an end we were meeting more often. We were spending time talking with our friends at a hill overlooking the lively city, laughing with old stories from our past at her house's roof, drinking at parties, smoking big cigars at rare occasions. I ve never spent time with her all alone but her presence made any kind of activity enjoyable. I loved her.
She had a unique name and the most beautiful face I had ever seen . Her beauty couldn't be captured by a painting made by the most talented artists. The army took me away and only pictures and vague memories remained of her. Yes Chopin's music makes me relive my first love.

I remember when I went to the Boutique to buy a Montblanc; stunned by the look of it, felt it, smell it but yet touch it, until I bought it, a beautiful box happens to open, found my pen along with a CD of Chopin, how good is that",so I turn on the Music and my thoughts overflowed with joy and kept on writing till now.

I never compare different genres of music to one another, rather I seek out those different genres as my mood dictates.
And when in a light classical mood, I'm glad it's there in it's purity, and when in a Rock-N-Roll mood, I'm glad it's there in it's purity, and when in a hip-hop mood, same thing and on and on.
I don't expect all people or cultures to produce the exact same style of music since all people live vastly different lives, have vastly different experiences in life.
So, that being said, I tend to appreciate it all, when in the mood for whichever style of music my mood steers me to.

Life is good to hear such beautiful music. The soul smiles!

So many precious memories here with the wonder full emotional Chopin who my beloved mother also loved - trying to play some of his pieces, visiting his home and the wonder full musical, artistic and many faith filled Polish people despite all their suffering. Dziekuje bardzo.

I love the image with the music. Light shinning on water is one of the most mesmerizing things to look at in my opinion.

When before a got Carpel Tunnel in my hands and arthritis set in. Chopin was my favourite music to play. Playing music helped me through many difficult and sad times in my life, Chopin Nocturnes in particular. I cant listen to Op9 No.2 in E-Flat Major without a tear or two.

Nocturne, op 9 No 2 makes me feel like a kid again. I would sit here and just think of all the times I would play in my room with the blinds open early every morning and just reminiscing on that beam of light that would always light up my room. It's a bitter sweet feeling, but listening to this gives me feelings I thought I couldnt feel again. I love Classical music ❤
