Every time someone calls him mean I get confused. He literally acts like a cat. And he treats the members extremely well he just seems super playful.
Ikr he is literally so sweet! Towards his members and others. He's just really playfull but I honestly think that's the best. He really cares and would do anything to keep skz happy!
I'm impressed how Bang Chan and Felix change direct their language Korean × English so smoothly
It's a bilingual thing! It happens all the time, sometimes your brain can't remember a word in a particular language and you automatically replace it with the one you do now. I'm always speaking Spanglish
I feel like that’s a part of why Chan feels most at home with Felix too, because that’s often how bilingual siblings talk. For example, it’s how Felix talks on the phone with his family in Australia

But it's just that sometimes I can't remember the word in Spanish and my brain goes like "Say it in English, it would be easier" when none of my relatives speak it 💀.

@@nakomelody1998 I'm crying, this is me but with German. My parents get so frustrated sometimes when I switch to English accidentally. My mom even started to pick up some of the words I use a lot, so she actually understands me better now but it's still a struggle sometimes. 😭🤚🏻

This literally happened to me when I became a Stay. Went on a crazy Stray Kids content binge when I discovered them, and ended up doing my uni exam with a full blown aussie accent. I'm Danish, never even been to Australia
English is not my born language, but i started learning since i was really young, so now I'm almost fluent, but still, this happened to me, like, i was talking to myself ( as no one in my family speaks English) and i just came out with a "naurr" and now sounds weird to say "no" yk? Aussies everywhere all around the world
@@lilimedeiros09 lmao I’m Australian and before I discovered skz I never realised that people think we sound like that, like I never understood the difference between the way we say no, and I still don’t 💀 but I think it’s so funny that people are starting to pick up an Aussie accent. I love how it’s like the whole fandom is Australian now 😂
Ok but like- Im fluent in English even if it's not my mother tounge and when i started listening to stray kids music i binged all there videos and im srsly starting to say naur and getting a aussie accent-

I feel like han is the most confident out of them to speak english, and I really want them to learn english since they’re going international and it would be much easier for them to express themselves in interviews.
Its more like he's the most confident in everything, this is han we're talking about 😁
I would argue the most confident is Seungmin in terms of using a wide variety of words and sentences. If you listen to Han, he tends to stick to certain phrases though he has a good grasp...albeit speaking like he's from the early 00's
Sorry guys, i was a month old stay and kpop fan when I commented this. And yes han is confident in everything as he should 😌 idk who has the better english han or seungmin but han is more outgoing and he’s not afraid to speak a language he hasn’t fully mastered and his English is really good, also hyunjin has majored in English so he can communicate with international stays and in recent VC you can tell his vocabulary widened and he’s going back and forth with stays with ease i’m happy for them☺️
I totally agree. Going international I'm sure is going to push them even more to learn English. Having Christopher of Felix translate is one thing but I'm sure they would like to be able to understand what is going on around them and to answer for themselves (in English) when they are doing press junkets, etc.

One of my favourite SKZ moments ever is Lino telling Felix the way he speaks Korean is beautiful! I just love how caring and patient they all are when it comes to language, and so casual about mixing up English and Korean.
Also why does Han Jisung sound like he's buddies with the Queen?! This man has been watching too many BBC documentaries and we can tell (btw I love it, the posh accent suits him, Seungmin's is slightly posh too, it's cute)

Britain controlled Malaysia/Singapore for a long time. They speak English with a British accent. That's why Jisung speaks that way.

I feel like a lot of people don't appreciate how Lee Know is always reassuring everyone. Like, whenever STAY or another member express their concern about something, he's there like "Nope, you're amazing and you're trying your best", I just love him so much ):

Multilingual people going back and forth between languages in the middle of their sentences or repeating things in the various languages is one of my most favorite things about multilingualism- The members' various English voices and accents really just puts this video over the edge-

I just hope Felix won’t be afraid to speak English now that his Korean has gotten so good, like I definitely understand wanting to keep on using Korean and not falling back on/relying too much on your first language but his accent is so gorgeous and I definitely could hear more of it 🥺

I'm wondering, since he lived in Malaysia for a few years and in Malaysia the English they speak is based on British English called Malaysian English, maybe that's why. But American slang is popular among younger people, which is probably also why he sounds American sometimes lol. But that's just my guess

I love this, the fact that they speak English often is really nice. They sound really good and their English is not that bad at all, well you know Felix and Chan's English are amazing because they are from Australia. I must say that their Korean sounds pretty good too 👏👏👏👏 awesome job team👋

at the last clip, where lee know lets felix speak in english and felix makes sure lee understands what hes saying is just heart-warming. cuz i totally understand the struggles with speaking and learnin english. itjust feels really awkward for me to speak especially when making new friends at uni. While felix also mentioned “its hard to express my feelings in korean”, i totally can relate to that feeling too, its like no one can understand you and you can only bottle up your feelings until you find someone that speaks your language

Skz learning English is so heartwarming as an international Stay, and I'm trying to learn Korean for them, but I think they're way better at English than I am in Korean, haha. So proud of them for all the work they've put into learning it. It shows in how much they've improved over the years.
