Yall forget giannis was HOMELESS as a teenager. He has literally came from the absolute bottom of life and risen to the top through nothing but hard work. Thats why he is so humble.
Itโs really inspiring
Although his family definitely had it tough, Giannis was never homeless. Stateless (meaning he had no papers) yes, but he always had a roof over his head and he basically grew up and went to school in the same neighborhood his whole life.
What was even better about his speech was when he said "even if I never get a chance to sit on this table again, I am fine with it". This shows that Giannis understands the bigger picture in life.
He was lying about that part TBH. Dude said it's addicting...
@@DUNGSTA An addictive feeling for chasing success because you are doing what you love and believe in does not equate to Giannis' point of being grateful knowing that all the effort he has put in to his life will in some form or another go rewarded. Shaq was to big he couldnโt guard 1-2 but if he did it was definitely hard to get around him and they really didnโt want to go near his space around the basket.
They really can't be compared. I loved Shaq as a Laker fan, but Giannis is like... a 7'0 Jordan. That's probably over exaggerating, but Giannis is hurting the defense with his 3 point shot and his mid range. Then he gets back and just swats the other teams offense.

Love this guy as a player and a person. He's so genuine, such a great story and couldn't be happier for him.
