Spent 35 years in corporate America going from tech intern to c-suite. This movie definitely brought back a lot of memories. I think this movie conveys the continual conflict that men (in particular) go through with trying to strike the right balance between being an exceptional "provider" and being an exceptionally present "nurturer". No perfect answer and our men often beat themselves up... privately.
I agree and I think instead of the system trying to change it instead evovled and now wants the whole family to be working for nothing.
For sufficiently enough not to ever escaped the treadmill they have us treading upon. Not nothing. Them we would simply leave.

I feel like this show is more of a statement of working constantly to support your family or be left behind. This obviously makes it look more horrifying, but I feel like this will be an allegory for the working man whether it's pushing a mill in circles or sending endless amounts of emails at a desk, you have to go above and beyond to not get left behind and fired (eliminated). Yet we all go through this cycle because we need to support our families.
Our version is more horrible.
Or stay single and have a own business... but not many can achieve that
There's a lot of anti-civ movies out letting us peak behind the curtains to the brutality of it all such as The Menu, Triangle of Sadness, The Last of Us, etc. I feel this movie may be similar. Planting seeds.

Reminds me of a Stephen King story. But I agree, I'm liking the movie more than expected.
Yeah, borrowed heavy from the VT episodes in Black Mirror. So, as far as the concept and a Mega-Company using something like that, I like it. But his acting (the protagonist) just didn't sell me. Neither did his cellmate. That probably was the start of being thrown off.
This is what inspired me to get financially educated and start my own company. These corporations don't care about you, you help them build their dream then one day they toss you aside for doing everything right, but sales aren't good enough or their direction has changed. Time for more people to realize this and go build their own dream.

A glimpse of what work life really is. Some of these companies dont give a flying F-- about you and what is going on with you outside of work. Reminds me when I worked for Walmart. Giving 10cent raise. Writing you up for going “too slow” and for meeting our store goal, What do the employees get? A few boxes of old pizza boxes from the store for appreciation. You get into an accident, or you grieve the loss of your newborn, they would text you “sorry for your loss, when can you get back to work?”

This movie is just awesome, it deserves grade 11 out of 10. It is presentation to us, public, as a form of training and just a simulation for main character, life simulation. It really forced me to rethink my daily activities, corporate and personal. Just dive into movie and enjoy. Really, really great movie, highly recommended. Bravo for screenplay, director and main actor.

Wow, what can I say about this movie? Here it actually shocked me at the end, I did not expect the ending that I saw. Otherwise, I wasn't interesting movie, I'll give it that I think it was quite original and I'm always looking for original movies that I like it actually, I did kind of like this what I paid for that to show you know what? I probably would have paid money to see this at the show. Do I highly recommend it? Yeah, I'll give it a third tune out of 13 skulls and say you need to check it out I took some time for me to make it work. I had to reload my Cody like twice to make it work properly. But it was well worth it. This movie isn't tense. I am not gonna give any spoilers whatsoever. But boy, are you in for a shocking ending? I did not see this thing coming. I'm pretty good at these movies here. I'm figuring them out within 5 minutes and this one here, this 1 here really caught me off guard. I'm kind of hoping to see a sequel. I wanna see what happens next, I just say this was part one of a puzle a few puzzle pieces. I want to see the full puzzle. Put together and all this was not scratching the surface I want to see. The rest of it 13 out of 13 skulls. Check it out. Let me know what you think

How I miss the old low budget style as "The Blair Witch Project". No agenda, no social discussion, no ideologies. Just a low budget horror movie.
