I love how the camera switches to the one harmonizing to highlight how live it is. Music shows frustrate me because they usually focus the camera one member at a time, not used to the fact that MMM usually have 2 or more vocalists singing at the same time (main melody + harmony) so viewers assume that MMM's harmonies are backtracks. Camera directors should take note because MMM stages are different than any other kpop groups.

omg moonbyul's lower harmony that joins at 3:50 is amazing... lower harmony is so much more difficult than higher and you can tell she's focusing and trying to find the pitch from about 5 seconds earlier.
this is truee our ears tend to get drawn to higher pitches more so it can be really distracting
But in live i can her but you will get distracted by solar's highnotes. She always do low notes that give balance to the highnotes. Which may result to harmonization.
So while Wheein technically didn't renew her personal contract with RBW, she does have an extended contract as a member of Mamamoo until Dec 2023. So we should still expect bops from them as a group, and maybe some more unrestrained solo work from Queen Wheein 🌻

According to Korean Moomoo, usually artists will sign a contract about 2 years after the 7 year contract expires. that means in December 2023 all members will also discuss whether to renew their contracts or not. a little explanation so there are 2 contracts, contracts that cover solo + group activities and only groups, now the other members except wheein all choose a group + solo contract and stay rbw, while wheein even though he leaves rbw and enters another agency for CB group affairs it won't be difficult because wheein extends the contract which includes group activities so it's not complicated, later after December 23 all members will discuss whether to extend it or not. That is all and thank you.

No group comes close to MAMAMOO. They are so natural, charismatic, the music quality, THE VOCALS, they know how to entertain the audience and and make each performance different and funny. I've been a k-pop fan for years, I've liked and like other groups too and of course every group is unique, but from "standard k-pop girl groups" (which is nothing bad) to Mamamoo... I didn't expect to find a group like Mamamoo in this industry. It's fresh, A+ performers and artists. Among all the girl groups there's no one similar to them.

I do want to say that even though it may feel strange that Wheein didn't renew her contract with RBW, she will still be continuing group activities with Mamamoo. She's doing what is best for her and that's all I've ever wanted, for her and the rest of the girls. I'm still so grateful that we have Mamamoo until 2023, whatever happens after that, I know I'll still support their decision because MAMAMOO is forever, MAMAMOO is family.

Yes. Apink all renewed on their 7th anniversary and then on the next contract renewals 3 years later, one of them left the agency but they're all still part of the group. With Mamamoo, nothing's changed. Just Wheein wanting no strings attached on her activities as an artist :)

Why is everyone being so pessimistic, contracts are not meant to be forever. It doesn't mean that by 2023 Wheein will not be part of mmm anymore, but rather she will have the chance to make another extension or not, also depending on what the group would want by then. Their bond is real, they will go as mamamoo as 4 or nothing, we shouldn't worry.

They can keep the Mamamoo brand if they sign a group contract with RBW who owns the Mamamoo brand, while at the same time continue their solo activities (such as solo artists,models, designer, dancer, etc.) in different agencies they will join in the future. This is usually the case in well-known groups such as in 2PM, APink and the remaining members of Girls Generation. However, they can all also decide to disband and regroup with another company, as is the case with BEAST, now known as HIGHLIGHT. But knowing Mamamoo, I really think they will withhold the brand because of they are very close and are treated well by RBW Director and Staff, as well as Moomoos.

This is the first time I've listened to Mamamoo. I'm already into them.
This group is perfect.
this is the best version. and the real musicians really add to the rich and full sound.
We all know the news, and we all know that the path ahead for them is still unclear. But i regret nothing for loving these 4 amazing women. The only thing that i (and a lot of newer moos) regret is knowing them so late ahead of their career, not being able to see them grow from the start. I've known them since 2018 but had only fallen in love with them around 2019. I am in every way grateful for them and what they've given in the past 7 years and for the future too. As a fan, i don't know how many years we have left with them, i don't know how many memories are there left to make, how many comebacks are there left to hype, how many "i say mama-mamamoo"s are there left to hear :') But for now I'd just like to say, this past year in which I've get to know them, is one of the best years i had, they've helped me through rough times, gave me motivation to work hard, and made me smile and laugh way too many times to count, gave me so much in such short time. Whatever happens, i know they will never let us go, and i know I'd still love them like i do now and forever ❤️
Grateful for you four, since 2014-6-19 to where you are now. Kim Yongsun, Moon Byuli, Jung Wheein, Ahn Hyejin. Mamamoo forever

This is not true. RBW said the reports were false and they are still trying to renew the contract with Wheein.

But there was no guarantee that Wheein will continue as Mamamoo by 2024. She agreed to perform on "some of the" (selected) activities of the group until December 2023. But beyond that, she'll probably continue to pursue her solo career.
