And then he had a panic attack, broke up with the other two girls, and wouldn’t take no for an answer- she was the only possible happy ending for the show. If she said no, it would have ruined the season. Thus, that’s what the above comment means by pressured. (It’s a tough situation. I can’t even imagine!)

Cassie was on a show called "Young Once" not long before becoming a contestant on the Bachelor. That show is "A documentary series that follows a group of young Christians from Southern California on their quest to live counter culturally." i find it interesting that she's on a show about being a Christian and she never mentions anything about her faith in GOD while on the Bachelor or in any interviews. That makes me question whether she's going on tv just for attention, fame, and money.

Didn't she say her last boyfriend tried to control her? Depending on the degree, & her response, it could have been mental & emotional abuse. She's still very young & getting over that. When she truly believes she can trust him she will settle into her real,comfortable, self. He is willing to patiently wait for that & assure her she is safe. I believe he can even prove he is strong enough (like one of the 3 Chris's); hopefully with a good degree of humor. The fact that he cries openly is a welcome change. I saw that in his dad. Men in other cultures do so too, openly. Let's see them both grow.
Thank you Daphene for posting that. I totally agree with you. I hate that people are so negative about their relationship. Especially since a lot of the reasons have already been explained. It seems that people don't care that they are real people who have had relationships before and have "baggage" like most people do. People need to be kinder (IMHO) and stop putting everything they say and do under a microscope.
No offense but since the last girl that he was in love with was a woman who had been sexually abused... I wonder if he likes choosing girls that he has to fix and convince to love him.
