And then you start to get self-conscious because of the weird atmosphere and kind of clam up? And then it basically re-affirms the description of 'awkward and unsociable', and creates a vicious cycle where socialising becomes ever more passively hostile and daunting? Reminds me a little of this but slightly different

My dad told me that if people start gossiping about me, they will see even the normal things about me as weird.
And if they think I am weird they will bully and stop hanging out with me.

@@campelady4576 it's a mental health term. It's blaming others for the things you're doing. People with cluster b personality disorders tend to mirror and project onto people. You can learn more through Google than I can provide, unfortunately.

I have always been quite a shy person but when i was about 15 in high school I gave a class speech and the students found it funny, from then on, every time I spoke, people expected me to say or do something funny. It was fine for a while I went along. But I realised that I could no longer be taken seriously and one day I realised that I just didn't talk anymore. I changed higj schools the following year and in my new high school I was just the weird quiet kid and I rarely ever spoke. It took me so long to train myself to be able to speak in groups again. I'm now 27 and I still find myself become a silent observer now and again in social settings. I guess, in a way, it's who I've always been. When I think back on memories it os like I am just watching events happen but I'm not a part of them. Tonight I went to fetch my dad from a bar with his friends and I realised that I'm a lot better, I can talk and express myself if I so wish. Being the silent one in a crowd definitely has it's upsides and downsides.

Poor duke, it really wasnt even that weird... sometimes it rains at the beach, and you want an umbrella when walking hom. The rain is cold, but the ocean was warm that day.

honestly, the best skin care routine is healthy eating and exercise, unless your genes are really bad then you need some special medicine for acne. If your face is normal though and just gets pimples sometimes then healthy sleeping, eating, and exercise go a long way.
