You shouldn't lie to your friends, but lying to them about how many toilets you have in the bathroom is outright cruel.
Bro as soon as I meet new people, I always tell them exactly how many toilets I have in my bathroom. I don't want any hard feelings down the line in our new friendship. So I stare them in the eyes, never breaking contact, and say my truth. My toilet amount truth.

Yeah. There is never--and I mean, NEVER--an excuse for deception and violence. Any shred of respect that I had for those victims disappeared down that toilet, when they lied.
@@tellmeninetails5819 you're digging yourself deeper into the lie! You're going to have to make up a plumber and get them to help with the lie and admit to tricking you with the tub. Then get everyone that's been to the bathroom to lie about how the bathroom never had a tub before just in case it comes up in conversation. Then you need to pretend that's the first time you seen a tub before and never used one before in your life, so you have to go to all your old residences and remove the tubs or replace them with brand new ones.

For the first time in my life I witnessed a guy in the cinema not whispering, but... just talking to the person next to him. He wasn't even loud or anything, it was just like, *room temperature* talking in an average pitch as if he didn't know where he was. I couldn't even get annoyed, it was just such a moment.

in place of that line would've fit a back and forth banter with Tom perfectly. I think Joel took that and dumbed it down to make fun of movies that are obviously trying to show a "Connection" for when later the character dies

I've been on the fence as to whether he plays a character on his own channel. The Deion's Dungeon series, I feel, made it blatantly obvious that he plays up the character at least some times. You see him in skits like this and he does so well!
I really like his haircut in this video.
He's probably also the type to look up every actor on IMDB, immediately ripping you out of the action by telling you the main character voiced Tom in the Tom and Jerry Movie.

Trying not to be hyperbolic here, but this actually may have been the best film you've made to date. Genuinely funny, unsettling, excellent pacing, beautiful camera work. Yeah, loved it.
There are so many great ones. I love "The Couple That Still Hangs Out at Your Hometown's Playground" and "Your friend from high school who's doing 'pretty good'".

For me, one of my favorites was "A rough approximation of how I react when a date is going well." But you're absolutely right, this one is right up there with the best.

Tom may have not been welcome in Trent’s movie night, but Joel seemed content with Tom being the last person he’d watch a movie with, but in a good way. He seems like a great friend, going out of his way to hang out with his buddies despite hating movies so much. I wouldn’t mind getting killed by the movie killer if Tom was by my side while it happened 🥰
I wouldn't want Tom to be there. I think it would be really scary and traumatic, for him, so if they movie killer is going to get me, I think I'd have to explain to Tom that it's best he stay home, and hope he understands when he sees the news later.

I can't even begin to tell you the relief I felt when I heard Joel's voice on the phone.
I mean he was really direct and clear the entire time. I kind of feel like he's the protagonist here and everyone else is too dumb to live
This was a masterpiece, Tom nailed it and I love how Dax made sure to bring up “two toilets” again behind the bathroom door when Tom came up.
Tom yelling at Dax and Trent while they stare blankly was the funniest thing I've seen this whole month. I was laughing hysterically at that part.
I love the flashback to the "conversation" where Tom is just yelling in their faces and their reaction is to just stare forward completely stone faced lmao. Like how is this normal

So the video starts and you're introduced to this character - and you think yeah this is not the type of guy I would want to watch a movie with, maybe even the last guy I would want to watch a movie with. But Joel - being the precise man he is - reminds us that the last guy we want to watch a movie with is the one that would murder us.
This is definitely one of the reasons why I watch stuff by myself, its either because the other people tend to be this obnoxious or they spoil everything and just be like "hey watch this, you're going to love this part" every 5 minutes.
I do the last part because people be on their phones during half the plot development and I don't wanna have to explain what happened but I also feel bad for having to do it but like bruh the text u got can wait
Or they just stop watching the movie with me and start staring down their phones
At that point I just turn off whatever I'm watching and start playing games on my PC
