While it is shocking and fascinating to see these animals with no hair, we don't want to ignore the fact that many animals around the world are neglected, over-hunted or even endangered, and so we'll be making a donation to the World Wildlife Fund that supports animal conservation. Also they help in pollination...we have been studying about mutualism bw figs and wasps
So without them the world would have had an overwhelming amount of pests...
But mosquitoes are another story!!!

So u can see why I absolutely hates those creatures😒
But I guess they too have some sort of ecological role in the ecosystem...

It's actually a flipper, so they are useful- just for swimming instead of flying.
They use the flippers to propel themselves through the water. It helps a lot because they mainly consume fish, which live in the water and of course try to get away. Penguins need wings (just without the feathers and other stuff) just not to fly

I work at a wildlife hospital and we had a bald hedgehog two years ago (it had bad scabies) and I can assure you Josh, it might look helpless, but it most certainly was not. One of the most agressive hedgehogs we have had 😅
It took about 7 months for his spikes to be back, and we were all very happy to see him be set free again

I must watch a lot of documentaries and The Dodo because I knew what all of those were and am even aware of some of their conditions. Knowledge is power, man! 😂
Same … and all were still so precious. And, knowing that those animals were in care and ok with photos and not doing what is animal nature in stress, speaks volumes to the caretakers. Thank you to those who work with those wonderful, and I think adorable, animals.
3:15 when birds get overly stressed; they start to pull out their feathers. And by the look of that poor dear... They were pretty stressed out.
He did say that they were in the care of a vet, though, so hopefully they're ok.
Thought the same thing and my heart broke. Also, that parrot was still beyond adorable and I would love it so much with it without hair … that goes for all of these beautiful animals! Also, I really hope that hamster didn’t have tumors. Truly, I thought each of them were adorable and I want all of them.

There are about 5 million hair follicles on the adult human body and men have a few hundred thousand more than women. But I guess we’re in fact hairless.
But you're on a video of a priest, who believes that God created animals and people separate, as do I. Even many atheists separate themselves from animals because there is just so much to a human being. I don't see any other animals talking or pondering the existence of God over the internet they invented, or wondering about their origin.

I've guessed everyone perfectly, instantly! The perks of having a mom who volunteers to rehabilitate everything at the Vet office she Works at. Most amazing one was a baby squirrel, completely hairless the size of an average pinky... a Runt the mother probably pushed out of the nest because it was a big litter. Took about a year for her to grow and become completely self sufficient after being raised by us, but she would sit on my shoulder and try to groom my long hair. was sad when she was released, but it was the woods up near Winnipesaukee so she had a real nice new home.
Upside is... about one in 5 were people's pets that needed care the owners couldn't provide, was nice sending the owners pictures of their pet playing and getting better.
Wow, thank your mother for her work. And, how lucky you were to grow up with those experiences. I found every one of these cute but also impressed bc those animals are in high stress situations and they were calm. So, those caretakers (and your mom) are doing the WORK! I loved your story!

I guess that's why Beorn's bear-form head looks so strange in the Hobbit movies. They decided to present a bear with no hair on its face and then use makeup/prosthetics/CG/whatever to make Human form Beorn have a slight resemblance to that.

Penguin: why are we still here...just to suffer???
3:20 is a Cockatiel that was most likely self-mutilating, this means that the bird is pulling out its feathers before they are ready to molt. This behavior happens when a bird (mainly parrot breeds like Macaw, Cockatiels, Parakeets, etc.) is stressed or sometimes depressed. I was actually worried that my parakeet was self-mutilating after my other one died. It's really dangerous and can affect a bird's flight and can cause bleeding.
I thought the same … though I thought it was a parrot in comment above so I apologize! But, yes, that broke my heart and I’m hoping it’s ok now. And, I truly hope your cockatiel is doing well now! ❤❤
@@margaretbishop8169 It is technically a parrot. "Parrot" is just a term used to refer to a bunch of breeds, cockatiels included XD. And my bird wasn't mutilating, he was molting properly. I just got worried since I saw him pulling his feathers out, which is normal for a molting bird because their feathers that are about to fall out can be irritating. It's kinda like the prickling you feel after a haircut. Not painful, but definitely uncomfortable XD.

치료를 위해 털을 민 상태가 그렇게 불쌍해 보이나요? 글쎄요 제눈엔 동물들이 그렇게까지 해서 치료를 받아 살 수 있게되어서 오히려 기쁘고 마음이 따뜻해졌습니다.

정말 공감합니다.. 좋은 의미(치료와&구조)로 털을 밀게된 동물들을 보고 털이 없다는 대상에 대한 반응으로 동정심이 든다면 그거야말로 고정관념으로 비롯되어 잘못된 동정심이 아닐까 생각이 듭니다. 오히려 저는 다행이다, 결론적으로는 잘됐다라는 생각이 들었고 사람마다 반응이야 댓글창마저도 다른데 졸리도 다양한 반응은 어찌보면 당연한겁니다.. 아무렇지도 않았는데 스스로의 사견으로 잘못된 사고로 불편함을 과하게 들어내는 사람들이 있어서 불편하지도 않던 제가 댓글창들을 보고 불편해지고 거북해졌습니다.

I am surprised on how the guinea pig was still extremely cute, even without its fur. Great laugh before I need to continue studying for my uni exam.
I think the closed captioning they do within the episode corrected their misnaming of the master rat from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Because as little as I know, I knew that Shredder was the chief villain.
