I still respect him. Smart of him to let go of gfriend cuz if he didnt, source music would be in deeper debt and gfriend will most likely be moved to bighit and it would result to them losing their original identity as artists, just like how bts slowly lost their identity and became a western sounding pop group.
Also, the reason soumu went on debt was the acquisition, if im not mistaken 80% of gfriend's profits go to bighit/hybe and only 20% go to soumu, which made it harder for soumu to stay afloat.

I am part of Kaia's patreon/patreon Discord (im not in the much higher tiers) and did mention these projects before when it was released so Im not entirely sure if Kaia saw it yet.

They will, disbanding them would be bad for source music and I think the new girl group of source music won't be able to cover all of source music's financial problems, unless they release bops of bop. Bighit would most probably stop source music from disbanding gfriend because it will also cause a bad effect to bighit because Gfriend is also one of hybe's money makers since gfriend already paid all their debts so all their money goes to them and their company, losing them would make source music and bighit's partnership to be a failure.
