My original trip to find a cure for TT: • 고양이를 살려주세요
In 2019, my cat TT was diagnosed with feline kidney disease.
When cats develop kidney disease, their kidneys are no longer able to function properly, leading them to waste away until they die.
There is currently no known cure for feline kidney disease. That’s why I’ve spent the past few years painstakingly giving TT medication on a daily basis. These medications aren’t even meant to help her get better - at most, they just keep her disease from getting worse.
Obviously, TT wasn’t a fan of having to take her medication every day. Maybe that’s why she’s lost a lot of energy and motivation over the years.
However, last autumn, I learned about a lab in Japan that was working on a cure for kidney disease. I made a trip to the lab to see if I could find a way to help TT, and found hope for her future.
Now, TT and I are planning on making a trip to Japan to participate in the drug trials. I want to make sure she can participate before she gets any older, or before her condition deteriorates.
I know it’s not going to be easy. She’s a house cat, after all, and house cats aren’t big on long-distance trips. Even so, I have to try.
I hope that the end of this adventure can bring hope to not just TT and I, but all cats and cat caretakers around the world who are also suffering like us.

요즘 티티는 두 시간 이상 차로 이동하기 연습을 하고 있어요. 얼마 전에는 루루랑 둘이 소노펫에도 다녀왔어요.
영상 속 티티의 눈가가 조금 촉촉한데요, 소노펫에 다녀오기 전 주에 환절기 감기 기운이 있었어요. 지금은 좋아졌답니다😃 날씨가 점점 선선해지고 있어요. 여러분도 환절기 감기 조심하세요!

Recently, I've been taking TT on 2+ hour long car trips to help her get accustomed to them. This time, we went to Sono Pet Clubs & Resorts, and LuLu tagged along with us!
If you watched the video, you'll notice that the corners of TT's eyes are a bit moist. That's the aftereffects of the slight cold she caught on the week before we our visit! Don't worry, though, she's better now! That said, the weather is starting to get a bit chilly, so make sure you guys stay safe and healthy too!

They have such a weird relationship, they'll cuddle but they also fight randomly.

Lulu is the best choice to travel with TT. Not only TT is used to be near the smaller Lulu, but he knows when to be near his big sister, and when to stay clear of her, when she is moody.

차가 엄청 덜컹거리지 않으면 멀미는 안 하는 것 같아요. 그나마 다행인 것 같아요. 차 안에 있는 것이 괴로운 것은 돌아다닐 수 없다는 심리적 압박감이 좀 있는 것 같아요 그래도 대견할 뿐입니다!

Our beautiful grey coat Queen TT is doing very well with travel, and having that cute little rascal LuLu travel with her as her “bodyguard” will make her travels more comfortable. Of course, LuLu will do anything for food! 🤣
I know that TT loves NaNa very much and treats her like a daughter, and NaNa could have been a good traveling companion for her if she wasn’t so skittish.

It was always Lulu being TT's closest friend. I even said as much a while back. DD likes everyone, so long as they don't get too uppity and try to wrestle him.
Lulu likes everyone, but will fight them over any and all snacks/spikey orange ball/purple brush(unless his own face is there).
