If you were a kid and did ballet you prob did simple things and its not advanced enough. Like silly hops and stuff. Btw, Its hard, for a kid. But once you grow up(reach the major grades), the dance is defo 100% harder

@@waltergrove2657 definitely. I took 4 classes (jazz, tap,ballet and hiphop) and all we really for flexibility did was stretch before classes. That's it. For my classes my teacher was more focused on how well we could wave a ribbon wand or how many twirls we could do. Tho it does depend on where u learn :/
the hardest thing I remember doing was posing for photos. we hade to contort our body's in so many uncomfortable positions for minutes

if i recall correctly, pilates for beginner includes exercising on the mat, and when you're flexible enough you'll be going to another level like in this video. so yeah it's still the same

Try looking up "pilates reformer" classes. Working out on a reformer is different than doing mat pilates because it uses spring resistance. Just a note: classes aren't the cheapest...
