That child also had a half sister named Annie.
This is seriously like some prototype Arcane here. Character much darker than their in-game portrayal. Serious and deep drama. Digital painterly style. Good stuff.
Have you ever listened to all of Annie's interactions and lines? Been maining her years and she's always been pretty dark.
Loved Arcane, but they literally picked the most boring characters/city to make it about. A show about Annie getting into the League of Legends would have been sick.

Well technically it was the step moms fault for not being good to her
Tibbers is a gift by Annies mom. She loved her a lot and felt safe in the family or her, her mom and her dad. When her mom died, her father found this new wife and her step- or halfsister. In the second drawing you can clearly see, how annie doesnt feel secure in the house and like an equal family member. Since she draws her burried mom, I believe she doesnt accept the new family constellation and misses her mom a lot. Thats why tibbers, something that connects her to her mom, is so important to her, since it closes a gap which her mom left inside her, when she died. He now is her symbol of hope, strength, safety and acceptance. He is her best friend. In the last picture you can clearly see, how she wants the people she loves all back together, and how the new family members dont accept her inner feelings and wish for this. That's the problem this whole story is based on ❤

except - that part of her story didn't exist when annie was first created - her story was completely changed a few years back. So they most likely created that part of her back story with her voicelines in mind, rather than the other way around

Annie's powers are so emotion-driven, and she's so young, she hasn't learned how to control her emotions yet. The mom's attitude towards Annie and Daisy didn't help either. So tragic.

Annie's lore is actually quite deep.
Annies mom is one of the child soldier being trained by leblanc to be possessed by tibbers(a demon). Annies mom ran away and met his husband. Annies mom felt that the black rose(leblanc) is closing in on her so she ran away and gave tibbers(demon) to protect her. Her dad remarried and from this video they died.
Annie is now alone and was found by the black rose and became a student not knowing thay one of their demons(tibbers) is with her. She met other students and she burned the whole place down and has a better grasp on her powers.

Silco reminds me of thanos a little. But he could never close the gap since silco couldn't sacrifice jinx like thanos did to gamoura.
Seraphine's dad was added to Legends of Runeterra as a support card for her. He's great and has lots of voice lines.

I wish the dress here is what Annie wore in game. I know it's old but it could use an update from the modern look she has. The fact the cinematic gives more emotion to Annie here than in game. We don't really have a lot of it because she hides it well after being abused by her stepmother

The symbolism, the art style, the character development, the amazing portrayal of emotion, this is incredible.
I have a difficult time understanding certain emotions in certain situations, but this literally flowed into my soul and if i only had a video of my facial expression throughout, just a masterpiece in everyway. I have never seen animation done with so many different tools (i have a background in visual effects and game development). They really outdid themselves with this one.

Going through horrible depression now, and an equally horrible childhood, this just rips my heart to shreds. "Why Annie?" She never meant to do anything wrong. She cannot control her feelings. When she comes to in her room with flames around her, she has no idea. I don't know how many times I've woken up surrounded by horrible things I've done while angry. Except, I never had someone to console me, or save me. I'm just filled with white hot rage. This video moves me so much.

At the very end of the story, when she was protected by Tibbers, it's like Annie finally knew she wasn't going to be alone. Tibbers is her family and protector. And seeing Annie hug her little bear in such a relief makes me want to cry. It's like when she hugs that little bear, she knew she wasn't alone. She has Tibbers and Tibbers has her.
This is the Best Story that LoL ever Had!

Such a sad story. I'm really amazed with the animation though :o I've never seen an animation where everything looks so painted. It's unique.
As much as I agree that the animation is beautiful, I must recomend you a Movie, not so sure what is It called in english, but It is in Netflix, it's a Movie about van gohn and the entire movie is animated as If It was made out of his paintings, It is gorgeus, please, If you liked This, do look It up, I do belive you Will enjoy

All of Annie’s power comes from strong negative emotions from the anger of daisy stealing her toy to her fear when daisy slipped. And the power seems to be inflated by the bear.

@@prototype6793 She didn’t kill her sister, she tried saving her, even. It was an unfortunate accident. Her negative emotions got out of control because of how her stepmom reacted, and she then started a fire, because of Tibbers, also by accident. Her father ended up dying while trying to get her out of the flames. Annie didn’t hate Daisy, and she loved her father very, very much. And the stepmom - well, she indeed did kill her. But she shouldn’t have messed around with that bear that *clearly* had something freaky going on...
