For MD to have any chance to win against SC, they would have had to play a nearly perfect game, which they didn't, especially offensively. And the early foul troubles of MD's key players hurt their slim chance, as well.

That was one of the worth officiating games I have ever seen. Maryland 26 fouls to South Carolina 12. South Carolina was fouling does girls just about every time they was on offense but the referees called nothing. If a Maryland player look at a South Carolina player to hard it's a foul. So Maryland was fouling South Carolina was just playing physical. That game was fixed the NCAA knows who they want in the championship

I think she was referencing the fact Iowa was in, Maryland could win this game and then Ohio State could win. The transition from talking about the BIG10 to LSU already being in was oddly timed and made it sound like she thought LSU was in the BIG10.

Their record is 36-0. They played top ranked teams during the season. By far are they overrated. They 're good but they can be beaten. Anything is possible. Diamond had a good game as well as #10, and #0. The rest of the team needed to step up.

South Carolina is in for a rude awakening this weekend. Maryland gave them so much trouble and was never that far behind for the entire 3/4 of game until they gave up. IF it were not for all the excessive fouls and bad officiating (of which SC missed like 55 percent anyway) they could have even lost. They think they're unbeatable but like any team on a streak display they can't play under pressure.
Coach Staley is a whiny coach. Hope Virginia Tech or Iowa shows her and her team the door.
