I love KRplus so much can't sleep I scroll through and find an old masterpiece like this is like being reborn ,the memories come flooding back into your brain and you appreciate the music of those days tenfold so lucky to have grown up in this era of unbelievable,magic, music probably never to again be duplicated in time.WOW!!!!!
I agree about the amazing availability of past gems on KRplus but can’t say I love KRplus anymore. I started watching KRplus back when there were zero adverts. Now it’s incessant adverts and often at really inconvenient times, halfway through a song that totally ruins the mood and the song. I have 2 strategies for dealing with this abomination. 1, mute the sound and close my eyes for the duration of the ad or 2, abandon the video because the song has already been ruined. I can’t stop KRplus playing ads but I sure as hell don’t have to watch them. 👍🏻😂

Like an ad between 'Glad' and 'Freedom Rider' is wrong because Traffic meant for the two songs to go together. My worst experience was a version of Prokofiev's 7th Symphony and there was an ad 30 seconds from the climax. Maybe we need a music-lovers union to let all obtrusive advertisements shall not go unpunished.
It’s beyond ridiculous with the interruptions. There’s a really noxious ad in Joe Bonamassa’s “Just Got Paid” live at the Royal Albert and it pisses me off to no end. Yes, I also remember when there were no ads. ‘Nuff said……

Have listened to this record since early 1971 and really don't care if it's deemed as the best Traffic album or not. It's a great one from a wonderful era that will never be repeated. Feel fortunate to be a part of it!

I got this cassette and a player with earplugs for my 15th birthday. Never got to thank the aunt that gave me this beautiful piece of music. It blew me away then and still does.

The Spencer Davis group blew me away when I was a kid with Gimme some more loving and Keep on Running. Every band Stevie has been in since has been brilliant. One of the original and long standing heroes of the British rock scene!
Great groove. Winwood has always had a great voice. I love this older music, before he became too commercial for my taste. Real instruments, analog recording and tube amps led to a warmer sound. Whoever the engineer was, knew their stuff.

Good Lord does this Album bring back memories.. Heard it for 1st time in 1970 by way of Army & being stationed at Army Hospital West Point. Oh and by way of a Brother from L.A. got "Introduced" to Mary Jane as well. 17 THEN 70 NOW..
This was Traffic's reunion album - and raised their music to levels before unattained. Just absolutely perfect, every track. I was fortunate to see them on the tour for this lp.

Finally got to see Steve Winwood a few years back touring with the Allman Brothers. Been listening since I was 10 with my friends older Brothers albums. Still listening 45+ years later says it all
Culmination of what Traffic started in 1967. B4 the band expanded and changed. This album will eternally stand alone on it's own and always hold up thru time.
Glad was the first song to be played at a party in college '77-'79. Almost got into a fight between Glad and some Springsteen song with a Jersey guy. Never did like him😂😎
Worked w Stevie's bro in law at VA in Memphis in 86-7. Cool guy. My favorite all time song is Sometimes I'm So Uninspired on One On the Road live. Damn lead guitar kills me.

"Empty Pages" is in my Top 5 alltime fav Traffic songs...love that skiffle beat Jim Capaldi plays mostly throughout.

This was Traffic's reunion album - and raised their music to levels before unattained. Just absolutely perfect, every track. I was fortunate to see them on the tour for this lp.

@@dianecotsirilos2623 They closed out a day-long outdoor music festival that had begun some 12 hours before. Steve came on stage with just an acoustic guitar, and a hush spread over the crowd. It was a very solemn moment. Not one a person could ever forget.
I've had people tell me that Steve doesn't have a voice...hmphf to them!!!!

Finally got to see Steve Winwood a few years back touring with the Allman Brothers. Been listening since I was 10 with my friends older Brothers albums. Still listening 45+ years later says it all

The entire recordings are great. But one thing I really like about the tracks on it are the bass lines. Really really good stuff.

Glad was the first song to be played at a party in college '77-'79. Almost got into a fight between Glad and some Springsteen song with a Jersey guy. Never did like him😂😎
