Yeah Disney gives you the script and they must approve all the questions beforehand. Jessi did amazing. Even though sh held back the off the rail question. her personality shone through.
@@lullaby508 Maybe they do that for international interviews or for the projects released under their own studio but they definitely don't give a script or approve questions beforehand for their Marvel press junkets (which are the only ones I usually watch). Her script was from her show runners (who she referred to as making her ask serious/hard questions before her last question about whether Emma had future plans to come to Korea) and sticking to it was due to the time constraint. I think the way those interviews work is the Disney staff would simply prevent something they don't approve of from airing, which they don't often do considering how many youtubers at Marvel press junkets get to ask inappropriate questions and still post their interviews.

But I have to say the struggle is real, Jessi is not meant for video call interviews and a very short and timed ones (maybe she can work it out as long as it's a face to face interview). When they're doing press they have to set up multiple interviews a day and they just don't have time to make them too long for each one.

Yeah Disney gives you the script and they must approve all the questions beforehand. Jessi did amazing. Even though sh held back the off the rail question. her personality shone through.
@@lullaby508 Maybe they do that for international interviews or for the projects released under their own studio but they definitely don't give a script or approve questions beforehand for their Marvel press junkets (which are the only ones I usually watch). Her script was from her show runners (who she referred to as making her ask serious/hard questions before her last question about whether Emma had future plans to come to Korea) and sticking to it was due to the time constraint. I think the way those interviews work is the Disney staff would simply prevent something they don't approve of from airing, which they don't often do considering how many youtubers at Marvel press junkets get to ask inappropriate questions and still post their interviews.
@@tedwards1025 I work in the film industry. They approve the questions beforehand. Sometimes they even give you the questions. If you asked something that's not planned and/or put the guest in an uncomfortable position, you will be blacklisted in their books..no more interviews for you

This is Eric Nam levels man. SOOO PROUD! But I have to say the struggle is real, Jessi is not meant for video call interviews and a very short and timed ones (maybe she can work it out as long as it's a face to face interview). Hopefully this show will continue on until restrictions are lifted so she can have such guests again.
yes, eric nam used to and still does interviews with global stars. i think the virtual interview would be okay had it not been for the short time. but, we are still so proud of them 😭😭😭
