We saw during Iโm the One era when he was on hiatus that truly OT8 are something special. I think the time away was really great for him because he seems happier and more confident recently

I think that the style of Jessi was introducing the guests to a non fan based audience (I read so many ppl became fans of ateez and txt after their interviews), while Sunmi let you experience a more insightful side of the guests. I really enjoyed both and Iโm happy to see more women as the main host of a show, because there arenโt that many in korean variety shows
i totally agree, jessi's interviews felt more focused on the guest's lives than in their career and work, sunmi is the opposite of that and still fun to watch!

It was shocking to me when i heard about the show ending, and then going in this direction. I was sad ngl, but not gonna hate sunmi for this, she's great...all this was just shocking for me
I love San for this 14:32 not a single member could be replaced and it's true. While Mingi took a break I missed him so much and didn't even realize how much I missed him until he came back. He's precious and 100 percent irreplaceable

I still remember watching their Pirate King live stage and constantly replaying Mingi's part and asking the comments who that gorgeous, deep voiced man was. Ateez was the hardest group to choose a bias for and I settled on one but same when he left I was absolutely distraught. And when he came back I was hit even more by how much I had actually missed him. I was still denying it but with this cb I can't ignore the fact that I adore this man ๐ very very true and wise statement from you. I tried to choose a bias but no my bias said lookie here it's me
ikr! usually idk if its coincidental or what but the first member that catches my eye in a group turns out to be my bias and they also happen to a rapper for some reason. with ateez it was mingi. but i was trying so hard to deny that because i wanted so diversity in my bias list. i was going back and forth between all the members but it just didnt feel right and it was driving me crazy. then mingi went on a hiatus and omg thats when i realized, damn! i miss him so much. and when he came back, i fell for him once again and this time couldn't deny it. so yeah it is true that you dont pick a bias, your bias picks you.

Everyone thinks she is this aloof untouchable legend of Kpop, but SUNMI is proper older sister energy. She has many adopted siblings in Kpop and her energy is always humble, playful and very protective.
Everyone becomes at ease around her after 5 minutes.

sunmi is doing well, every showterview is unique because of the host charm and personality, so itโs just a matter of preference at the end. Iโm happy to see more women hosting variety shows, considering the lack of them on korean tv shows, instead of bringing them down with bitter comments, do better lol itโs sad

If it wasnโt for the iconic intro of ateez I wouldnโt even bother to watch like Iโm sorry but when youโre used to a host like jessi and then have a host like sunmi itโs totally different like the show lost itโs flavor like itโs so plain and kinda boring with sunmi and she can be replaced by anyone when jessi was special like she speaks her mind without offending anyone and thatโs what made jessi a good host so you canโt say " youโre not whiling to give sunmi a chance" when literally just by watching this ep itโs not only the same vibe but it became like most of the interviews/ shows out there
@victoria if youโve seen the stuff that jessi posted then youd know why people are reacting like this. She did not know she was being replaced at all, she literally said herself they were most likely going to return for more episodes but then she found out from a friend that she was being replaced by Sunmi. This aint about Sunmi, its about how Jessi was treated. It IS tragic when youโve worked so hard on a show to be snaked out of it so disrespectfully. Dont comment before you actually know what happened.
@Esha but maybe Jessi had a contract and it ended. Why everyone thinks the producers fired her and replace her? Like you guys are trying to make it look so tragic when it's not.
@Ashley It was never Jessi's show, though. Jessi's Showterview was a continuation of Yang Sehyung's Shorterview (Showterview and Shorterview are pronounced the same in Korean.), and SBS owns the IP of the show, too. I fully understand and support Jessi's desire for a break, but SBS can't just wait around indefinitely until Jessi decides to re-open their source of income.
It's really warm my heart to see how SUNMI looks naturally happy and have fun in this episode just like when she's with her real siblings. Among Miyane it's already known that SUNMI is a great sister to two younger brothers (she raised them very well). This part at 20:52 is exactly her natural reaction towards her own siblings. It seems that SUNMI has adopted another adorable younger brothers besides her 'urie BamBamie' ๐. This interaction is really awesome that I watched it many times. At the same time it also makes me missing SUNMI's contents with her brothers, that I rewatched all her SUNMI''s RReal World and SUNMI's Rec_Code series with her brothers.
There were so many adorable moments for me in this episode. But the most precious one is when Wooyoung and San told SUNMI 'We're KKanbu' and then Yonho, Hongjoong and Mingi said to put SUNMI's picture on the wall beside their pictures. Looking forward to another awesome interaction of SUNMI X Ateez. Hope in the near future, SUNMI can appear in Wooyoung cooking program, it would be very fun and chaotic.

i really liked this interview, atz are relaxed, the questions are different, and i liked that they could actually express their opinions on things like their concept and stuff. i liked that they were honest with their answers, i hope atz will come back for another interview!!

Seriously i love san for speaking out...no one can replace Mingi... remember when they were in Kingdom and during other promos of Bulnoriya it was hard for hj as well to cover both his and mingi's part seonghwa took some rapping parts too for other songs to be performed on stages...they all had to give even more as a group so they wouldn't feel they r not missing smth but seriously no one like mingi! He's unique ! I love you mingi

I watched this video repeatedly to focus fully on Sunmi and then each of Ateez members individually. All of them are so gorgeous I feel my eyes blessed. I'm not really into bgs but this wholesome interaction might change it. Ateez is totally new to me, this is the first time I watch them. I'm really glad to see top comments here and on Twitter are Atiny's very heartwarming reactions towards Sunmi.
Since last year Miyane had hard times when Sunmi always received unreasonable hates, I tend to avoid idols whose fans mostly disrespectful towards Sunmi, especially on Twitter. It's because I don't like any negative vibes towards the lovely Queen Sunmi. Seeing Atiny's warm response makes my heart more open to search Ateez's other videos and I'm really impressed with their encore stages. Just like Sunmi who seem to have soft spot for Yeosang, I also feel the same โบ๏ธ. Hope to see more interactions between Ateez and Sunmi in the future. I also hope Sunmi can become guest in Wooyoung's cooking show, would love to see another episode of them bickering and laughing together ๐

That's what I love about ATEEZ though -- they are so unbelievably top-class in looks, powerful bodies, incredible talent in dance, vocal and rap, and also really intelligent and well-spoken young men. In short, they are the ideal "hot young men" in every way, and yet they don't ever have dating scandals or mess around in any other sordid affairs. And that's because they *are* so serious about their art and the epic story they are going all-in with, which no other kpop group has ever attempted like this. The old guard will call it cringy because they didn't do it themselves, but the future generations will call them the founders/originators of all the things that will make up the future of kpop for generations.

nah fr. ever since I got into ATEEZ, I never thought their Pirate Concept was cringey coz it was so unique for me. I love everything about them, their concept, songs and the fact that they release two title tracks every comeback is suuuuuuuuuper cool to me. They're the only group I stan and they're the only reason I'm still into kpop.
They probably wondered what was meant by pirate theme--Pirates of the Caribbean, Pirates of Penzance? They were probably relieved when they found out it was a modern interpretation and they wouldn't have to go around saying, "Arrrgh" and "Avast there Matey!"
@Paulina Garza you are ABSOLUTELY right. Artists/idols have to take on personas on stage most times and it's okay if that persona is a stretch from who they are on a normal day but one thing is for sure, they enjoy performing and bringing those personas/stories/concepts to life.

Ateez were gentlemen, playful and lovable as always but Sunmi was totally something else....I actually fell in love with how adorable comfortable supportive and open she was....I will totally support their friendship๐
16:42 Although the questions for the โI have or I have neverโ were hard, the rivalry question was the most difficult given they will have to specify the group if they did answer โI haveโ. I mean seriously how could they include that rivalry question. You could see the membersโ reaction in disbelief. But I was surprised Mingi was honest and held the sign โI haveโ without hesitation, I respect him for that deeply. Then San saved the situation by saying the rivalry is between the members and then seonghwa joined him and everyone else.
I like Ateez respectfully to their Senior(Sunbaenim) Sunmi ..they treat their own oldest sister(Nuna) and so does her...she treat them as their own youngest brother....the funny things is She couldn't control her laughing about their jokes. Even she couldn't control her 8 youngest brother since their hyper active like a spoiled kids or childish...which is their behavior like a 8 yrs old.....even that ...she still caring about them cause Ateez is big fans of sunmi ..she love them so much .....

I appreciated Sannie and Seonghwa's earnest, gentle-hearted answers -- ATEEZ really are a bunch of sweethearts who overflow with kindness and sincerity. If all those big agencies are scratching their heads wondering why ATEEZ has jumped over their own groups' heads to hit so big globally, it's because of that: their sincerity, kindness and clear/unashamed devotion to their art -- the things that transcend all language. The idols who have those "too cool for school" attitudes will just have to stay cool in their small bubble of SK.

honestly I laughed, got amazed, was confused and even shed a tear while watching this because so many moments made me remember a lot of events that happened during ATEEZ's pre-debut to debut era. i came to realize that ATEEZ and this fandom have some such a long way and fought really hard to be where they are now

I love Jessi and she was the bomb with her show but this was actually very refreshing and nice in a different way. Jessi was always very in your face and direct and this was very flowy and nice. They are both very fun to watch. I hate that we have to pit one against the other because it was not their fault and it could have been handled alot better
Since sunmi has younger brothers she is so comfortable with ateez like in her noona form.. i love how she is hosting this show.. its different vibe from previous that's what makes it special..
