"should" is kind of a strong word. Some would love this kind of life - for others it would be anywhere from uncomfortable to downright impossible. What I would suggest is that everyone find their own "comfort" place and work toward it, as both of these people did. It sure as he** didn't happen overnight.

I love watching her cook also, I don't think she needs her own channel....people seem to be pushing for that. I am just so happy she is there and that is enough for me. If she is happier off camera then so be it.
I hope one day i have a chance to survive winter in a log cabin, I just with my cat, dog, and my family, we handmake anything, we put down the phone, we play snow and feel the environment. i very love your cabin thank for you share your life with us. for me, it is relaxing and makes me full of imagination.

For this kind of lifestyle, TOTALLY AGREE!!! Watching My Self Reliance has inspired me to have my own off grid cabin, maybe home. It all depends on what my wife is comfortable with and wants when she gets here to Toronto from the Philippines.
