Considering the amount of Books and that they already covered Books 1 and 2 in the first season (short stories and setup for Book 3 onwards) we might be getting around 6 or 7 Seasons total.

Season 1 adapted the last wish and sword of destiny. The last wish was adapted rather thoroughly while sword of destiny only had 2 of it's 6 short stories properly adapted. That is however likely due to the fact that about half of season 1 was original content. Considering they have already passed the point where season of storms would have taken place (right before the striga episode) we can assume it won't be directly adapted but elements of it will likely work their way into future seasons. That leaves the 5 novel main saga left for direct adaptation since we know they are never continuing the plot past the end of the books into the games. The novels are rather slow paced meaning that for the first four I believe they would have no difficulty fitting two novels per season however that depends on how much original content they add in, we already know we are getting original stuff with yen this season since in the books we don't see much of her until the very end of blood of elves. So it could take them three seasons or even four seasons to get through the first four main saga books but two is my guess for the moment. Then I have no doubt what so ever in saying that the final book lady of the lake which is over 500 pages will have a season all to itself. That will leave to show at a minimum of four seasons total and a maximum of six seasons total. Also if they don't work the events of season of storms into later seasons I wouldn't be surprised if they make a movie to adapt that.

If that were the case, then this series would be much closer to the original books. Unfortunately, Lauren has a same ego and desire to rewrite an already written story as anyone else.

If you don’t wear a mask you could spread it to people who could die or be admitted to an icu. Also icus in most countries get overrun easily. Try working in one one day and you’ll understand. I’m a physician btw, so I have some first hand experience in what this does to countries and healthcare systems.

@@Valibomba Yea, in the show it's their first meeting, and they went for the idea that both could "sense" each other, and in Ciri's case, Geralt's thoughts. Strange choice. And it's going to be awkward when they don't expound on that idea going forward in s2. People are going to be like, "Don't they have a mental connection? Why can't they find each other after Thanedd??" ... TV writers annoy me.
