A group of down-on-their-luck Broadway stars shake up a small Indiana town as they rally behind a teen who just wants to attend prom with her girlfriend.
"You can't cherry-pick the Bible" But I can cherry-pick this movie by only watching this scene thank you Netflix for posting this.
this one time andrew rannells ended homophobia in a mall in indiana... it was awesome
Alternate Title: how Andrew Rannells actually ended homophobia in four minutes and twenty-eight seconds
“We’ll have to cut off your ... ✨hands✨”
“Maybe she was always gay”
Considering Rannells is actually gay, his performance has so much weight behind it. His performance is so powerful because he believes in the words he is singing.
Who else wants Andrew Rannells to end homophobia in their local mall?
Notice how they all got 10× more attractive once they stopped being homophobic
This man sure knows how to OWN a musical number!
If I had a nickel for every time Andrew Rannells sang about a religion in a musical I'd have three nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird it happened three times
But what does his Stepdad say? THE SUSPENSE IS KILLING ME!
Fun fact: this isn't your first time watching this
The world really needs a lot more Andrew Rannells singing in movies.
Is anyone else obsessed with the fact that Andrew Ranells is 42 and has more energy than all these kids?
I'm surprised that at this point that Andrew Rannells back didn't break carrying this whole movie
That's it, homophobia is cured
Despite the fact that Andrew has been in multiple shows, movies, and musicals- he still feels underutilized. I want him in more stuff.
I love how the Godspell kids are just casually walking around and when Andrew/ Trent gave them a really really really short explanation, they were fully in character in the very next moment
The only song in the Netflix version that not only holds a candle to the Broadway version, but may even be better then the Broadway version
andrew rannells is a national treasure
