I never watched the original money heist but it's clear in this version they used their own creativity to include new, Korea-specific ideas. Looks interesting!

When I heard that money heist was gonna have a Korean version I lost my shit. South Korean media has yet to disappoint. From their manga/manwha (solo leveling, tower of god and god of highschool.) to train to busan, squid game, my name, Vincenzo, vagabond and parasite… they’ve consistently been kicking ass! 😍😍

surprised you didnt mention Signal - probably the best tv series to come out of korea in the last few years. Vincenzo and Vagabond are nothing in comparison

I was wondering what the joint economic area was now I get it. This is how you adapt a show for your local audience and damn does it look good.
The Korean entertainment industry never ever disappoints. If they're doing widely used genre like horror they just absolutely turn it around into something is never done before and then there are movies like Parasite and shows like Vincenzo. Everything is so well done, so thought out, so passionate. This country keeps fascinating me more and more.
Alot of things have been done before but they don't get the attention Korean industry gets so it never reaches world wide audience. Horror genre like the recent zombie school one was taken from webtoon manga/comic. It ain't anything knew. They deliver well and they have a worldwide audience to watch it.

I love how they didn't completely remake the show but had put more of their elements !! So excited, can't wait to see MH : Korea !!
Just like with “designated survivor” it looks like they’re taking the original idea and making it their own instead of doing a direct copy! REALLY intrigued by this one!
They did the same with the "Suits" reboot as well.
I like their changing the backstory a little bit of Korea will make it more interesting
And yes wait for netizens to criticize the show for distorting Korea backstory and history.

@@series25a This situation is completely different from Snowdrop, it’s not even comparable. This is set in a fictional dystopian world, while Snowdrop dealt with the delicate facts of history. You can’t fault people for being protective of their history, when historical revisionism/denialism can easily pulled off nowadays especially in media.

Great cast - lead guy is great in Mad Dog and Different Dreams. Korean shows are the best. Discovered then a couple of years ago and haven’t looked back at any North America shows as Korean shows are a much different level when it comes to acting, cinematography, music and writing. They are hugely talented and completely underrated.

I have not watched the Spanish version. So I have no clue about the plot or anything. I’m definitely going to watch the Korean one! So excited. I just finished watching Kim Ji Hoon in Flower of evil and he was amazing in it. I’m excited to see him in this.
