I’m amazed how great the South Korean actors are at switching from serious drama to comedy if you saw Hymn of Death and mr queen you would think those are two different actors Shin Hae-San is the bomb very underrated wish she was in more movies

I enjoyed this drama so much and loved the story and chemistry between main leads, Kim Jung Hyun and Shin Hae-sun. I hope they have another project in the future, one that is set in modern times. I think this is my favorite drama or movie for both of them. I have watched it 3 times now and it has not lost its charm for me. 🥰

@@DonHbankz If you want the long version look up the Joseon Exorcist and Mr Queen controversy.
Short version is another drama by the writer of this Kdrama got cancelled due to historical inaccuracies and associations with China. Mr Queen got similar complaints when it started but still did well in Korea. However because of the backlash towards the other drama all traces of Mr. Queen were deleted from several platforms and a lot of their stuff on YT was removed also.

I like Welcome to Waikiki but it gets boring in the middle. Only Mr.Queen is consistently funny from beginning until the end of the series.

and not get caught by the cousin. She , when the father comes in, starts kissing him more passionately to continue the game because now she remembers and knows what the Kims did to his family. So it was all a kind of a game to deceive the others but ended up being very passionate and real. Then, when she realizes that they are out of danger she snaps out of it and Jang Bong-hwan wakes up and starts slapping herself. This whole sequence was hilarious. And his face, not understanding what is going on, is so good. Awesome writing and excellent perfomances.
