A few games I’ve watched him try to catch up to a receiver that caught the ball over a different DB and I see no catch up speed. He has a special boost though when it comes to the ball and it being near. 🤷🏾♂️ Regardless, he’s a certified monster.

This year dallas is scary and amazingly balanced on offense and defense.

Not sold on Dallas and perhaps in a few more weeks I will be but I've seen far too many times teams get off to hot starts and just fizzle when you hit the meat of the season. And while it is still impressive that they only lost once thus far, you do have to look at the teams that they've played and hit the breaks a little - they beat the teams that they should (Giants, Panthers, Eagles). Won a 50/50 game (Chargers - be fair, either team could have won that, especially if you were to have to pick today, you could make the argument for either one winning) and loss to the Bucs (the only playoff team thus far if Im not mistaken).
But with that said, your team is still doing miles better than the poor Phins.
@Josh Fog lol we were shutting down Daniel up to that point. Your backup dude played way better somehow other than his interceptions. Barkley yeah you have a point there, but it's not like he was about to put up 200 rushing yards or something while you're playing catch-up the whole game and Dallas actually has a pretty solid run defense.

Can anyone explain to me how QBR works? Dak threw 22/32 for 302 yards and 3 TDs with 1 INT and had a 41 QBR. Daniel Jones before he got hurt was 5/13 for 98 yards with no TDs or INTs and got a 60.1 QBR. How in the hell does Dak end up with a far worse QBR than Danny? Seems to me QBR needs to be reworked or we need to stop using it as a stat because this makes no sense to me.
A 50 QBR is average and Dak was way above average in every way. If he had this exact same game for 17 games his end of the year stats would be 5100 yards, with 51 TDs and 17 INTs and with a 69% completion percentage. That sounds like MVP numbers and not a below average 41 QBR game.

I was talking about that yesterday with my brother. This is just like that vintage 93 year. Think about this though! It would be crazy for the cowboys to go to the super bowl this year then the halftime show is gonna be crazy with most of the artist that’s performing being the hottest around 93. This could be a crazy throwback year. The bills are looking good too. Who knows!
Also reminds me of 2016 as well. The year before we were 4-12 and when Romo got hurt people expected us to be one of the worst teams in the NFL. But we managed a 13-3 record with 9 straight wins at one point. Completely surprised everyone.

Actually, a ton of people had high expectations. We have a DEEP offense and a good defense.
I think you mean 1991. In '93, they were the defending champions and the only thing notable about that year was Emmitt's holdout and they started 0-2. Even in 1992 a lot of people were predicting big things for the Cowboys.
The cowboys literally have good to great players in the same positions they had during their SB run's again. QB, RB, WR, OL, DL, DB. Took us 20+ years but we've finally built a borderline great team again.

The interception record holder for a single season on the Cowboys is Everson Walls with 11 interceptions in a single season in 1982. The NFL record holder for most interceptions in a single season is Night Train Lane with the Rams in 1952 with 14 in a single season. Diggs is on course to be the NFL all-time record holder for most interceptions in a season!

Diggs is already tied for the second most interceptions in a single season by a Cowboys player since 1985, when Walls had 9. There’s a very good chance Diggs could match or surpass that this year. Of course teams might stop throwing to him and the law of averages says that he won’t get a pick in all 17 games. But this is already one of the most impressive seasons by a Cowboys DB in recent memory. And it comes in an era that totally favors the offensive side of the ball, which makes it even more impressive.

I think we are good but I fear what will happen on defense when the take always disappear. We can give up a lot of yards and that’s fine when you’re taking the ball away twice a game and scoring off them but when that stops things could get ugly.
If Diggs can continue snatching balls out of the air then I bet he'll end the season with more touchdowns than some other teams' starting receivers.

still a year away, they should win the division and their first playoff game, but they still have to get past the Bucs, Rams, Packers, and Cardinals. If they get the right pieces to fill the rest of the holes in their defense (especially at safety), they're super bowl contenders.

Gotta say, Dallas is looking really good this year. Zeke is running like its his rookie year, Dak looks 100% healthy and his play is helping them win instead of putting up big numbers in loses. Defense did a 180 from last year and are looking good now. And Diggs, that dude is special. 6 picks already, one in each game and its only his sophomore year. It's early but he can be one of the best DBs in this league for the next decade if he keeps it up.

This was an impressive win. Mike McCarthy seems to be settling in and the team firing on most every cylinder. If everyone stays healthy, Dallas could make a deep run.
They still have some kinks to work on but what's scary is they haven't really hit there stride yet, even with the injuries the Giants had ,the score just would have been closer. Dallas looks hungry and that secondary is lights out. Go Cowboys!
I cant explain how happy I am to see Dallas playing this way, but seeing Barkley and Jones injured left a sour taste in my mouth.

Even though the Giants haven't been very good this season, you have to account for the fact that the injury bug has bit them particularly hard this year. (Saquon Barkley, Daniel Jones, Kenny Golladay, Andrew Thomas, Sterling Shepherd, Darius Slayton) How on Earth is a team supposed to be competitive when this many of its 1st-stringers are sitting on IR?
Gettleman will probably lose his GM job at the end of this season, but it'll be as much a result of bad luck as it is bad performances...

It’s crazy because we won by 24 and yet I feel we could have got even more, as we probably have at least 3 more points without that fumble in the red zone. This team is scary offensively and opportunistic on defense. It’s been amazing to watch so far.

Its crazy how deep the Cowboys are on offense excluding the QB position. Great RB tandem in Zeke and Tony, dominant O line with La'el still coming back, 2 good TE in Dalton and Blake, 3 great WR in Ceedee, Amari, and Gallup still on the way (all 3 could be the #1 WR on any other team in my opinion) and hell, even the 4th string Cedric Wilson is a really good player. Defense is loaded with really good players too. Thank the football gods for bringing us Dan Quinn
