Can't believe they didn't call roughing when he got popped
Yea that got me pretty upset considering they call it for barely touching the qb after the play. It's crazy cuz he got hit pretty hard in the head surprised he wasn't in the tent after that.
and when he was sacked and the guy fell right on top of him. There has been an emphasis on that this year. The defender could not have feel more squarely on Mitch.
Mitch is pretty tough that could have been 2 times in the tent.
Took it like a champ though and kept playing like a stud

@@employee0 I still don't think Nagy really knows how to fully incorporate the run into his pass Happy mind. But Nagy to his credit is starting to move Mitch. And today he was better with situational football by running more on short yardage down and distance. As far as our O line. Daniels and Whitehair switching back to center has made the line a little better. But Massie and Leno for sure need to go. And Alex Barr should replace Rashan Cowhard. We have for the most part pass blocked and ran with a little success up the middle. Pressure is almost always Because Leno and Massie miss there blocks or get drivin back into Mitch.
The offense looks better when taylor isn't playing the 2nd receiver.. Wims is a bigger target for mitch
When you need those 50/50 balls Gabriel sure as hell can't make those plays

Considering the fact that we have a defensive lineman playing right guard right now and our ut o-line is dogshit and we lead the league in dropped passes, maybe we should cut him a little bit of slack.
@BM32 nah man Miller did great but Mitch was equally as good. You can't put it all on Miller. Im usually harsh on Mitch but he showed signs of progression today. The real question is can he be consistent and continue to grow??? We shal see.
@BM32 Hopefully the coaches see that we are better off with T. Gabriel on the bench. Trubisky needs to improve and needs to run more, but you should check out "tape never lies". Tell me what QB would be successful with the 2nd most drops in the league and an OLine that seems to not even attempt to block and a coach that loves unsuccessful gadget plays and 5 yard curl routes. I know you just want to hate but seriously, educate yourself.

first time in awhile I’ve seen trubisky looking comfortable in the pocket. Doesn’t have light feet. He’s in there managing and throwing smart passes
In the NFL it's hard. But Mitch was damn near perfect except being late on the interception by Slay. Most of his incompletions were drops or hitting the receivers hands. He was short on the one pass to A Rob. And over threw Robinson on his first incomplete pass today.

Trubisky played great this game there was so much growth. Dude also got a good running game and pass protection. Sure he played the Lions D but that does nothing but prove that he can succeed with some support from his team. People who say that he has been and will always be trash are just refusing acknowledge that he played a good game and be wrong for a weekend.

O line is bad (Daniels and Whitehair are good though), receivers can’t catch half the time (most drops in NFL), and kicking is still somewhat an issue. Play calling is questionable most of the time but today was pretty good. Can’t put it all on 10.

Btw, it's like a filtering system. When the titles are longer like that there's an option or automatic function that gives you the most direct title explanation.
This is what happens when Nagy calls a decent mix of plays and the receivers actually make a few difficult catches. Mitchell isn't the main problem with this team.
Nagy was better especially with situational football in short down and distance lining up and playing tough guy football and running in those situations. A little more running could have still been accomplished today. But a step in the right direction
Don't even try to blame Nagy. Mitch is like a first gen iPod. Exciting when it was in the developmental phase, irrelevant 2 years later. Also, your kickers couldn't hit water if they fell out of a boat. If it weren't for Khalil Mack and Nagy...man.

Wims and Horsted should be starters. Both have size and speed to make match up problems for D's. Along with Paterson, these 3 make the Bear offense big yet quick. Their size helps with everything this offense wants to do, especially with pass protection, run blocking, play-action, and screens. Nagy going small with Gabriel and Cohen just wasn't working this year. Horsted might as well play every down just as extra help for the awful O-line.
