I was raised a Cards fan, my first game was Week 2 in '07, Seattle @ AZ when Leinart was QB. I'm 19 but my mom attended some games in 1988 when they moved from St. Louis as well. So excited for the Cards this season!

as a 49er fan, I actually believe Arizona will be putting up 50 on us. How the hell are we gonna stop two of the best receivers in the league when our corners might as well be bums picked off the street (and they will be if we keep getting injuries). I can at least rest easy knowing Arizona is going to win the division, the rams and seahawks can both suck my piece.

This is the Cardinals game to lose. 49ers have their share of injuries, a QB with limited mobility, a rookie QB, and no one in their DLine or LBs can chase Kyler successfully.
Cardinals have the weapons with 4 solid WRs, 2 TEs, and 2 solid RBs plus Kyler's abilities. The Defense has been very stingy and will continue to be so

Last week the Rams linebackers played Murray tight, opening up the Cards running game. This week the 9ers will focus on the RB’s which means Murray will have to gash then for a few runs
Hopefully they go up early and negate SF running game

My quarter by quarter prediction/breakdown of the game:
Q1 - Niners win the toss and defer. Cards take it down on the opening drive for the TD to make it 7-0. Not a good start from Lance on the opening drive and the Cards get it back but don’t do anything on their second possession. Lance gets picked off on his second possession and the Cards score another TD, but Prater misses the extra point, to make the score 13-0.
Q2 - After a defensive struggle most of the quarter, the Cards commit and turnover and the Niners get the ball in good field position, and are set up for the TD drive thanks to a defensive PI call on a third and long, making the score 13-7. AZ gets a late TD to make it 20-7. Lance puts together a nice quick drive in the final 60 seconds of the half but then Slye or Wishnowsky or whoever attempts the FG bricks so the score remains 20-7 at the half.
Q3 - Lance continues his end of the first half momentum with the opening drive of the second half but throws a pick. AZ gets the ball with decent field position but only gets a FG out of it to make it 23-7. More struggles from Lance but then Tartt comes up big with a pick 6 to make it a 23-15 game after the two point conversion. The Cards put together a good quick drive though and are in scoring position to end the quarter.
Q4 - AZ answers with a TD early in the quarter to make it a 30-15 game. The rest of the 4th is a defensive slugfest by both teams until Lance puts together a really impressive drive late in the 4th and the Niners only take the extra point to make it a 30-22 game. They still have enough time to kick off, but are forced to burn their timeouts and Kyler puts the game away with a big 3rd down conversion, escaping a sack and picking up the first down with his legs, to enable them to take a couple knees and bleed out the clock for the 30-22 W.

I’m pretty solid on cards winning here. Kyler is way to unpredictable and has so many weapons including his feet. I don’t see the cards losing more than 4 games as long as they stay healthy in key spots. This could be the team representing the NFC
As a niners fan the only way we win this is to contain Murray and put atleast a field goal up each drive and sadly looks like we’re gonna struggle with both of those things😂

As excited I am for Trey Lance to start, I'm not as sold as the Niners because the injury bug seems to have bit them again. For the most part, they have replaced those positions nicely, (but I am concerned with George Kittle's injury. The Cardinals have looked good in their first 4 games. Although I will say, Kyler Murray needs to make better decisions with the ball. I do like their defense a lot; unless the Rams D gets better, I'd put the Cards' D over the Rams. I'm going Cardinals in a close game 17-13.

In the beginning all 4teams were floating on the top of the division at 2-0. Now in just two weeks the 49ers have dropped to the bottom of the division like a rock, while the cardinals remain floating alone at the top at 4-0. I hope I’m wrong but look for the Cardinals to totally destroy San Francisco’s defense by air and land. The only way they have a shot at winning this game is if the 49ers offense can score blow for blow like they did in New Orleans two years ago.

As a diehard Cards fan, this game will also be tough.. any given Sunday.. anyone can get beat. what Cards need to do is to bring the same Intensity and mistake free football game. Then, we will have a good chance of beating 49ers. I believe that AZ Cards Defense is better than Lions/Seahawks. so hopefully, we can shut down their run game and get some sacks.. What this video fails to mention is how much QB pressure AZ Cards were able to generate last week.

This time last year I never would’ve expected the cardinals to be the top team in the league, but Murray never fails to disappoint. While there Arizona O line is not the greatest in the league they were able to avoid tuff D line of the rams, including avoiding Aaron Donald. On the 49s side I’m curious to see Trey Lange preform from start to finish, I like him simple as that. This game I think is lop sided in favor of the cardinals but with the way this season has been, I’m not making any bets.
