@@andresmaldonado8587 Pikmin are basically brain dead, which is why when the captains (us) land on the planet where they use real tactics to use the pikmin to the best of their abilities. Without the captains all the pikmin would be dying, I mean look at them trying to fight enemies without you. It becomes a massacre lol.

@@WarpedBlinds yeah I've always thought about the symbiotic relationship between Olimar and the pikmin like that of a pokemon and it's master. One is the brains and the other the brawn.

@@andresmaldonado8587 yea it's beautiful. The captains need help or else they'll die and the pikmin need help to repopulate and fight back or else they too will die off. Its a "I help you, you help me". Makes me cry sometimes ngl.

There is a rumor that something pikmin related will be shown off. NOT RELEASED just shown off. And I think if they don’t come out with GameCube for NSO then a pikmin all stars is what I find somewhat likely. With pikmin one,two, and hey! Pikmin. Has two of the best GameCube games ever, plus hey! Pikmin. But still, have a little hope. I hope 3 deluxe sells well and encourages Nintendo to put pikmin 4 higher on the priority list.

Saw someone say that since we got new models of the ship parts in the side stories, that a Pikmin 1 remake is in store.
I dont buy it, but I do want to live in that world.

@@ntdosplat3130 same here. It really would not be that hard to even fully remake the game.just redo the textures , the areas, the UI and the rest of the ship parts, as well as the ship itself. Just replace the old creatures with the ones from pikmin 3. And a remake of pikmin 2 would be awesome too! And maybe bundled with hey! Pikmin... I think I told you this already

I wish they spent more time on putting more content into the game so it was not like 1/5 as long as every other AAA Nintendo game

@@minabotieso6944 Honestly that's Pikmins curse, it's so small that it's not a priority series and thus doesn't get a lot of that attention like a Mario or Zelda game

@@minabotieso6944 well that's the magic of pikmin. replayability. Beating the game faster, killing less pikmin, and taking faster routes. I do wish there was more pikmin though...

@@ghostlyrobert you cannot be serious with that. Longer games like Fire Emblem Three Houses actually have replay-ability. Being more efficient, using different characters and classes and even doing the many different story routes.
I realize that the game pushes you to replay days but except for the last level, nothing is hard enough to warrant repeating the day. You will almost always do well enough to have a sizable surplus of pikmin and juice. The general opinion online at least that I have run into is that game is easy which is totally fine but there is not much more efficiency that can happen because of that. HAHAHA Faster routes.
Pikmin does not have any replay-ability magic other than playing it again from the beginning which I know I will but the story will still always seem bland and feel like it was cut short.

It's pretty rare for a game to have an 8.7 rating. The main 3 Pikmin games have are that or higher.

I tried it on wii u, didn't like it at the time but that's because I didn't understand it. Tried it again on the switch and absolutely loved it. I just got better at games since I was 15 l guess lol

@@Darian-mk1bw i watched my mum play since I was 5. I was scared to go past the armoured mawdad myself until I did. then I got so much more brave.

@@picklechicken8396 but how is it better? The game pad controls way better than a controller if you ask me and the extra content doesn't make up for a full 60 dollars/euro it just isn't better or worth buying

@@maxiogaming1103 the game pad had hard controls (guessing where you’re throwing thanks to the way you gotta tap it) and the graphics, gameplay, overall quality of life is better. When did you last play it?

I have pikmin 3 on Wii U but that's a lot money for a few changes on the deluxe plus the rumors of switch pro puts me hold wondering if i should wait.

@@gerardog.7371 Yeah, I have both, and the controls on switch are horrible if you want to use gyro. But otherwise there's nothing new. If there's something else you want to buy, get that instead. You're not missing out on anything.

@@T-Dawg75 since I only play on original hardware (dolphin emulator is amazing, but doesn’t feel 100% right) and only have the Switch, I wish they released the gamecube ones, even as individial purchases on the eshop or remade as paid DLC of the third game (unlikely, nonetheless). But yeah, the missions and bingo battle are amazing!

I made a full 0 death run on the Wii U. It's a lot of fun, planning on doing it on Ultra Spicy now.

@@goldeb1291 I love no death runs but for me, I rather lose 30 Pikmin in the whole game without resetting rather than 0 with reset. that way I feel like I did not cheat even though resetting is a feature.

@@marioluigibros.8176 I've done a no death run like 5 times (currently on the 6th, Ultra-Spicy), there's no shame in resetting. Why would they make GOING BACK IN TIME a feature if you're supposed to be ashamed if you do it?

yes! these videos are so sad. Like, look at EVERY time they show footage of the first bulborb battle. They ALWAYS lose pikmin.

@@thenabbitgamer I do not mean to judge the game's length with equal importance to story and gameplay(you should not). I mean the main story ending abruptly after just getting all the pikmin types and just like 5 locations is bad and not satisfying for the story. The map structure and gameplay did not get deeper as you went through past water paths and new pikmin. It would be cool if they did a really tall intricate mountain map.
Do not rationalize the length. Timed collection missions are not that exciting. I heard that they spent most of the time creating the engine and had less time for the content. (But they did have seven years to add more content and they just added a few more bland timed collection missions)

​@@minabotieso6944 Probbly a small dev team for pikmin 4 (if it exists), Nintendo defiently didn't spend 7 years on the port, timed collection missions is not the entirety of 100%, its the most story driven pikmin game, it has more story then a normal mario game, it dosen't end abruptly if you were paying attention or if you were going for 100%, and maybe you hate real time strategy games not pikmin games spesificlly.

Saying any game has more story than a Mario game means nothing and I cannot believe you actually said that. The story was only 5 maps and it ended right after getting all the pikmin types. That is abrupt.
I did not collect everything before doing the last boss because I did not expect it to end that quickly but before the last boss I got about 90% of the fruits with an insane stockpile of pikmin and juice and that was like 10 hours.

actually all joycons drifts motionwise, you don't need to buy new ones because of that. I legitimately don't mind at all press R button on Pikmin and Mario Galaxy ports, gyro controls are heaven, and the calibration is instant and seemless, even in splatoon2 the Y calibration is ok

@@1996MartinsMatheus It is literally unplayable for me. Worst part is, I got these joy-cons repaired by Nintendo for their control stick drift issues they originally had. The motion cursor drifts and moves on its own after about 5 seconds even if I keep it completely still on a tabletop for example.

Same problem here, on my second pair of joycon both drifting, not going to be a third one, Nintendo really screwed up here.

You can, just, yknow, use the stick instead of the motion controls? That is a option.

@@thenabbitgamer I can't play and enjoy the game that way. There are a few useful things that are only possible with the motion controls that you can't do with the control stick. You're right, it is an option. But I rather play and enjoy the game the way I want to play it, and not play it a certain way simply because I have to. I can't enjoy it that way.
