I think after the putty you need a primer then sanding, prime again then wet sand that way the surface is much better prepared for paint. That is why your first paint job failed as well it wasn't ready for paint yet. Regardless your 3D and manufacturing process is on point..... simply amazing.

Fun fact:This is how they make 1:1 scaled of concept cars in real life but they use 3d printing and the material of it is mud
Most of them are sculpted with tools out of clay, not 3d printed

Thabks for this tutorial i ised a 1/24 scale model car body and just use that as a form basically to draw with the 3d pen over to make my first 3d pen car and after hours and hours of smoothing with a dremel butane soldering iron that has different attachments that are great for smoothing 3d pen models and builds and hours of sanding and body filler andnprimer i finally gotnit in oaint and its flawless and looks jist as good as the model car kits body except its in full paint. Im working on the chassis framr and interior floor pans and stuff now to make a full car from 3d pen
Nice design bro, next time don't make the front bumper flat and in the same level as the wheel arches. A light curve protruding a bit further will make the front end look even better.
