This song hit me hard, broke me down and I cried.
I reunited with a girl who I’d been friends with before, we connected so fast and so quickly (we were LD). She helped through one of the hard times in my life. We talked every day and we would FT everyday, I would even FT her son and I instantly grew to love him. We talked for 3 months before I grew the courage to go see her and her son. It felt like the best day of my life, I still remember our first hug, I remember how happy her son was to see me in person. I would go see them almost every month or when I could until we decided to move into a place together. Everything was good for the first couple of months we had arguments just like everyone but when we were good we were great together, but I now realize how prideful I was. Suffering by myself while she tried to help me. Depression hit me hard, becoming someone I didn’t know. We were losing each other. Arguing and never getting anywhere, things got worse but I stayed because I love them, I love her son so damn much. It was hard to see the messed up situation we were in. In august I made the hardest decision I have ever had to make was to leave. We couldn’t get better together, I knew we couldn’t. I left trying to get better, I hurt her and her son something I’ll always have to live with. She’s found someone new and I just can’t find myself to move on because this isn’t what I wanted. Just broken, trying to get better. Anyways.
