I used do a whole thing with the cold ingredients that go on last, mix the lettuce with diced tomatoes, black olives, banana peppers, sometimes mushrooms, Italian dressing, lite mayo 🤤that looks amazing.... And that red pepper method with the torch, pretty brilliant.
For those detractors, this is a toasted sandwich with pesto, fresh moz, assorted meats, home made roasted red pepper, thinly sliced onion and tomato and lightly dressed tossed lettuce on top. I honestly don't know what's not to like about that.
