우리는 보통 academy라고 알고 있어서 I work at academy라고 호주 친구한테 말했더니 제 말의 뉘앙스를 이해하지 못하는거 같았어요ㅜㅜㅜ 그렇다구 소규모의 학원에서 일하는데 거창하게 private educational institution이라고 말하는것도 웃긴거 같구ㅜㅜㅜㅜ private educational institution는 뭔가 해외의 어학원처럼 느껴져요ㅜㅜ 학원을 영어로 어떻게 말하나요? 영어 단어로 소규모학원, 중형학원, 대형학원의 뉘앙스 차이도 있으면 혹시 알려주실 수 있나요?

무엇을 가르치냐에 따라 틀리지만 호주에서 학원은 그냥 college 라고하면 알아 듣습니다. 어학원은 language school 이라고하면되구요. 학생들 방과후 단과 학원 같은건 tutoring centre 라고 하면되요.

English is a very beautiful language. As much as in Korean, I come to Oliver avoiding the complicated events that are posted on KRplus every day, and it's nice to hear the everyday English sounds of your beautiful mother and your friends. And in the songs and poetries, they abbreviate "Th" etc, many times to match the beats & counts with the flow of the rest. There are many words which are not pronounced, and are pronounced but not able to hear because of not one's native tongue.

미국 친구랑 카톡할 때 그 친구가 한국 술잔이 가지고 싶었는지, "Shot glasses where can I get em at? 이라고 보냈었는데 em at이 무슨 뜻이었는지 한참 고민했던 기억이 나네요 ㅋㅋ 줄바꿈때문에 띄어쓰기도 안되어 있어서 emat이 무슨 뜻이지? 한참 고민하다 되물었었어요 ㅋㅋ 이 영상을 미리 봤었다면 바로 이해했을텐데요 ㅋㅋ
