Since every male in sk goes to military, many are familiar with how they should look so they arent fooled and think his a crook, while the people that helped him probably has no clue , the salmon shirt guy was sus at him too but still just chose to help.

Remember, Kargil veterans KIA families were given land and homes in a society in Mumbai and it was demolished just 3 years after citing a technicality. In my locality (Rajasthan) which is supposed to be one of the more patriotic states, there are Kargil vets thrown in street by families and they need to litetally move pillar post to get a job as a lowly paid security guard. In India, Army life is good if ya get commissioned. Otherwise, u will be disappointed.

I'm still considered a caste traitor by my Mirza community even if like all my family since Jaisingh of Amber are military.

You can look af this from s South Korean's perspective too. In most of the countries, people join the military by their own will while in SK,it is mandatory for everyone to serve in the army, so spotting a soldier on the streets might be a regular thing for them as many of the people have themselves served in the army.

I don’t know why but my tears suddenly fell when the Grandpa gave him the money. 😭 Of all the people he approached, Grandpa is one of the kind hearted person who helped him. I remember my late grandpa whom I never met in person.

Well it’s not about the soldiers particularly in this case. People are just not as stupefied towards defence forces personnel unlike India and US because Koreans are really acclimatised to it and most men have been in the army. In certain countries, a uniform makes a huge impression on people, in Korea people just get acclimatised to it.
Soldiers are our brothers, sisters, fathers, mothers, sons, and daughters. They give up their youth to serve and protect their country. Which ever country they serve i have great respect for them.

저도 예전에 타지에서 몇달간 일하고 집으로 돌아가는 길에서 그런 경험이 있어요. 버스터미널에서 어떤 할아버지가 지갑과 핸드폰을 잃어버려서 2만원을 빌려주면 값는다고 해서 제가 2만원과 함께 계좌를 적어 주었는데 그 후 3년이 지난 지금까지 돌려받지 못했네요. 그 당시 생각해보면 이상한 점이 많았는데... 잠시간의 대화를 했을 때 내 이름을 물어보고 답하면 자기도 강씨라고 하고 지역을 물어보면 자기도 그쪽출신이라하고.... 그때 너무 의심없이 빌려주어서 후회했던 기억이 나네요. 그 후 의심스러운 사람이 돈을 빌려주라 하면, 바쁘다 말하며 무시하자는 마인드가 마음 한편에 생겼고요.

You can look af this from s South Korean's perspective too. In most of the countries, people join the military by their own will while in SK,it is mandatory for everyone to serve in the army, so spotting a soldier on the streets might be a regular thing for them as many of the people have themselves served in the army.

Well it’s not about the soldiers particularly in this case. People are just not as stupefied towards defence forces personnel unlike India and US because Koreans are really acclimatised to it and most men have been in the army.
In certain countries, a uniform makes a huge impression on people, in Korea people just get acclimatised to it.

요즘 지갑이랑 핸드폰 잃어버렸다면서 돈 뜯는 사기 수법이 있어서 더 안도와주는 것 같아요ㅠㅠ 저도 솔직히 군복입은 사람이 아닌 민간인이었다면 안도와줬을 것 같아요,,
맞습니다... 사기 수법은 나날이 진화해 나가고 있고 착함이 미덕인 세상은 이미 오래전에 끝났다고 봐야죠... 어느 한쪽이 정답이 될 순 없겠지만 저런 상황에선 소신껏 Yes or NO 답을 내려야 한다고 생각이 드네요

예전에 터미널 앞에서 지갑 잃어버렸다고 해서 만원 줬는데, 다음날 또 거기서 차비 빌리고 있더라고요. 진짜 멀쩡해 보였는데, 그런 사람들 때문에 진짜 도움이 필요한 분들이 피해 보는 것 같아요.
그럴땐 돈주지말고 표끊어주면됨
표끊어준다면 도망감 ㅋㅋ 자기카드아니니 환불도못받을테니
저도 예전에 타지에서 몇달간 일하고 집으로 돌아가는 길에서 그런 경험이 있어요.
버스터미널에서 어떤 할아버지가 지갑과 핸드폰을 잃어버려서 2만원을 빌려주면 값는다고 해서
제가 2만원과 함께 계좌를 적어 주었는데 그 후 3년이 지난 지금까지 돌려받지 못했네요.
그 당시 생각해보면 이상한 점이 많았는데...
잠시간의 대화를 했을 때
내 이름을 물어보고 답하면 자기도 강씨라고 하고
지역을 물어보면 자기도 그쪽출신이라하고....
그때 너무 의심없이 빌려주어서 후회했던 기억이 나네요.
그 후 의심스러운 사람이 돈을 빌려주라 하면, 바쁘다 말하며 무시하자는 마인드가 마음 한편에 생겼고요.

저도당할뻔한적있어요...저렇게 사기치는사람이 많아서 사람들도 경계하는거임
