I use the NewCrest neighborhood as a large community place. Everything is a community lot. I use it as a one-stop destination for restaurants, museums, shops, library, etc.
Now that's handy!
i really want to do thinks but im afraid i wont be able to make all these lots myself and that finding ones on the gallery that make use of my packs will be difficult.

I like that idea. I hope NewCrest is large enough because with all the packs installed The Sims 4 has a whole arrange of community lot functions.
All the other neighbourhoods, do you use them purely for your Sims to live in?
@@meechtree5795 Look for base game lots. There are some good base game builders out there! After that you can redecorate or add what you like.
My favourite is to combine it with Eco lifestyle. I open a repair/junk shop with the landfill lot set. Sims randomly bring broken electrical items to dump. If your sim has high handiness then you can fix these and sell them with zero cost. Have a dumpster and the eco cleaner device and you can dumpster dive for other things to fix up and sell. I've found it very profitable and fun to play.
I love Ecolifestyle! And that sounds like a really great concept to play! I was thinking of making a store that sells fully upgraded furniture so my sims don't have to all be good at the handiness skill. This would work really well with your idea I think. Thank you for sharing!

I recently played as a pair of vampires and had one of them go through the master chef aspiration and her husband was a gardener specializing in floral design. I had them open a shop to sell wedding cakes and bouquets. Another trait I found to be good along with Marketable was also "Stoves and Grills Master" which has the opportunity to make food of impeccable quality.
I do love Get To Work. I'm quietly hopeful it gets a refresh to let us run home businesses. Thanks for all the great ideas 🥰
Totally agree! That would be amazing! In the mean time though if you play on PC there is a mod that allows home businesses! I can't remember who made it but I think it's RVSN or LittleMsSam? I saw it during lxdice's play through of the Seven Deadly Sins challenge. Super cool concept!

I started playing the Werewolves pack with a pair of werewolf and vampire girlfriends (which is its own kind of chaos...), and I had the vampire join the doctor career. It's a lot of fun having her go to work and drink from her patients while also trying to heel them!
amazing vid!!!! i can see the collectibles store being so great for storytelling -- like if a parent buys their kid a cartoon figureine they like, or someone buying their witchy friend a gemstone.
I like to make a magic and potions store for witches and put it in Windenberg using RoM, Get to Work, and Get Together. I’ll sell potions, rare fruits, magic herbs, tomes, etc

As a side note, with the new fears in game, my Sim got a fear of the dark after being abducted twice, so I guess that's a thing that can happen now. LOL
I've been trying to get my sim abducted for ages! I started to think they disabled the feature. Did you do anything special to make it happen?

Id love to do a thrift store using that dumpster lot that I saw in one of your other videos. Also be able to sell paintings and craftables ( new to the game) tell me if this is possible and I just dont know it yet!
13:45 WUT? I now about infinite collectables (and plant seeds) because I use the cloning machine and the copypasto spell a lot. But this is a great addition! Have you tried it with the moneytree seed from the rewards store? It costs 5000satisfaction and is so totally worth it, especially since it can be copypastoed.

Hello, does anyone know how to move or where to put the sims 4 get to work to origins where im playing. i have origins and im playing base game and i have installed get to work currently downloading right now but how do i make sure its installed and its will be there in origins or in files? can someone give me the instruction what to next?

If you have seasons and get to work you can play as an alien with a retail store and if anybody discovered you are an alien you put the store on lockdown and turn the heat up with both the weather machine and the other thing so everyone inside dies
