Bts really wanted to put out art this comeback, They want to share a message. I agree with Monroe! Bts doesn’t have to try as hard as they do, they could easily accept the fame and use it to their advantage, and put out mediocre stuff. Yet they refuse to because they respect their fans so much as well as themselves as artists. It’s crazy to think that a group as big as them still practices as much as they practiced when they debuted.

In that song Jimin played the main dancer for his contemporary dance,also jimin and j-hope are the 2 best dancers in BTS but you can tell the difference since j-hope's dances are strong and jimin's are differentiated by being delicate and more contemporary, that's why in this song he was the main dancer

Throughout his career, BTS has changed people's perspective on kpop and I feel very happy that you, having the influence you have, appreciate it and transmit it to your followers and thus demonstrate that BTS are more what pretty faces, extravagant outfits or sticky songs. They are true artists and are revolutionizing not only the kpop, THE ENTIRE MUSIC INDUSTRY. I love you Riverse.

Actually a fun fact: Yes RM is the leader of the group but when it comes to their performances the leader is J-Hope. Since he is Dance Leader he also is performance leader when their performance director can't be there that moment, like on stage right before curtain opens etc. In your discussion during the Black Swan MV you hit the nail on the head about the issue of "Kpop". It's a conversation that many have had and I think it will continue until the music industry and media stop looking at kpop and othering it the same way they do "Latin" and "Urban". Once they recognize it as just music, it will be much better for all Idol music in the future.

When you said "PROUD" I felt myself get emotional. I started to break down. I could feel the genuine feeling that were coming through your words. I love your reactions. I really liked the way Monroe mentioned how the name “KPOP artists needs to be taken out of the music industry. I’m not saying how the genre needs to be taken out but the label that is put on these amazing artists. I agree that they will and should always be proud of where these musicians came from and the doors that are now opened for the different artists coming out and breaking insane records in western culture. I feel like I haven’t heard anyone in a reaction say that before and I really loved that she mentioned that because I have been wondering that ever since I got into the kpop genre. I will have to say that my mom is a bts fanatic, as am I, but when she first heard Black Swan, she wasn’t a fan. But after watching the choreography and the set that they put together specifically for this song, she loves it now! We are seeing them live in Dallas on the 9th so she’s very excited about that! I have been a fan of BTS for a long time and how far they’ve come from that to now is just incredible. I have been into a few bands and groups before but BTS just gave me vibe that I knew was going to change my life for the better! AND THEY HAVE! When you read the lyrics you will be even more impressed because as musicians i get a feeling you will connect to it too.

RM is the leader of the group and Jhope is the choreography leader. RM is BTS' guide and spokesperson and they trust him so much (deservedly so, bc he's so amazing, understanding and reliable). Suga is there to give him a hand from time to time when it comes to guiding group discussions, as seen in Burn The Stage, as an older brother and as someone who is also levelheaded - bc poor RM can feel a lot of pressure sometimes.
When it comes to performances, though, the leader is Jhope. He's been the choreography leader since debut. He's very serious about his role and keeps all the guys in line. They often joke about him being scary, the opposite of his sunshine self, when he gets in choreo leader mode. But BTS wouldn't work so well if all the guys didn't cooperate and gave their best in order to match the others (while keeping their individuality). Everybody helps in their own way and brings something to the table. They follow RM and try to not make things harder than they already are for him, while he works so hard to be the spokesperson of the group and guiding them. It's a bond of constant mutual trust and support, respect and hard work. Truly inspiring!

KHADIJA: "JIMIN DANCES LIKE WATER."
Well, honestly HE shined most in this performance since the choreography is a bit of contemporary and he majored in that type of genre that's why he looks so good during this performance it's his forte. And of course they performed incredibly and they ALL LOOK SO YUMMY.

You guys kept mentioning that Jimin moves so fluidly, well before BTS he actually studied modern dance and ballet so this was really a strong point for him. J-Hope is very much a hip hop dancer which is sharp with force where their dance styles are completely opposite but they both are great dancers.

that's what army really feels. no lies. seriously. that's why the fans are really so passionate and emotionally related to them. that's why 1 twt asking or praising or even dissing bts will blow out. i know it's also sometimes part of army being unable to control and not aware of their power of giving out clout and blowing something out, but it's all bcs they (fans) are that passionate about their artist (bts). and their passionate isn't only bcs bts are good looking /cutie pie (all and all, ofcourse they are) but there are so much more than that to make us, their fans, army, are this passionate and take them as dearest people to us

He kept it going until the end although he said he was in pain. Also Jimin was a contemporary dancer for 3 yrs before he joined BTS so he is in his elements in this choreo and he’s killing it

@21:00 I love the real talk and the open discussion on self-improvement. BTS always great example of resilience and pushing through to be the best versions of ourselves. Btw, JHope said in a VLive he accidentally got kicked hard in the head during this performance and nearly passed out. If you watch closely when they’re on the ground and swing into a standing kick, JHope grabs his face for a sec. So basically I want to say don’t be too hard on yourselves, because even when mistakes happen the greatest lesson is the professionalism onstage to complete the performance and strive to do better the next time. 💜

I laughed when Dizz commented on the perfection of the performance after the James Corden show because there actually was a mistake in it. When they did the little rock on their feet, V actually kicked J-hope in the head as they were getting up. They're just such professionals that mistakes don't stop them in a performance. He commented later that it hurt so much that he thought he was going to pass out, but you'd never know it watching it. I love your passion and connectedness with the work ethic of BTS and the world class level of their vision. You guys inspire me too :)

This time BTS have a project called "BTS CONNECT" they are invite another artist from the other art industry to join with them.. is not about just a music but also ART. They put ART for this COMEBACK!! THIS IS ANOTHER LEVEL FROM BTS.

This is by far my favorite reaction to the performance. It's so genuine, like you could tell they meant every word rather than just showing out for the camera. Automatic like from me!!!

I’m so glad you guys noticed just how strong Jin was in this live performance and JHope too! And you’re so spot on that Jimin’s dancing is so so fluid (I really hope you guys get to see his MAMA piece it’s stunning) Like these boys have become so dynamic in all aspects and like you said each member brings such a strength to the stage it doesn’t feel complete if anyone is missing.
I know you have plans to react to more solos but I really hope Jin’s Epiphany is at the top of the list (and please please turn on the English subtitles or read the lyrics before you listen to the song because they are so so touching!!!) Also now that you’ve kind of latched on to JHope some I really hope you’ll check out his mixtape!! (The whole thing is amazing but I especially like Airplane, P.O.P and Blueside) Actually all the rap lines mixtapes are amazing. His “Just Dance” solo from the Love Yourself album is SUUUUCH a bop.
I listen to RM’s Mono every single Sunday morning while getting ready for work it’s so good I have to listen to it religiously. Yoongi’s mixtape makes me FEEL so many things. Actually all Yoongi’s songs make me feel so many things and they’re all so different and diverse and I think he’s truly a musical genius in every sense of the word. He’s my bias and I could go on for days.
JK’s Begin and Euphoria (especially live!) V’s Singularity and Stigma are smooth vocal masterpieces and his “Winter Bear” solo just gets me into such a chill vibe it’s like V’s personality put into song form. Jimin’s Lie is so SO good to me, I have never heard anything quite like it and I will never quite be over how intense it is.

Jimin is not only good at hip hop and various types of modern dance, but also contemporary dancing. When he dance, it just mesmerising! Regardless of the song or the type of dance he is doing your eyes are always drawn to him. dance that he has learned in school, ballet and contemporary dance it’s are more present in him when it comes to dancing, He is born to perform. ☺️

I feel like people don't mention this enough. Khadija's so insightful in her commentary (they all are but this is a Khadija apperciation post) and I love that whenever she gets emotional about BTS I can relate to her so much. At the end of the performance on James Corden's show she looked so moved and she said she loves them so much and then she was quietly thinking about it and I'm exactly the same whenever they release something, this is the exact way I react as well. I just wanted to hug her and tell her "I know, K, I feel the same."

You should’ve see their 2019 Melon Music Awards performance. It was 37mins and it was legendary. Also, BTS is known for deep lyrics in their songs. All their songs since the beginning is connected. They talked about school in their first three albums, then youth (you never walk alone), love yourself and now the map of the soul series. A lot of their songs help with mental health, the difficulties of young people adjusting to the world, social phenomenon and loving yourself. On vlive, J-hope mentioned that one of the members accidentally kicked him during the performance.

Ugh this commentary was so on point. One thing I think about is how they are so dedicated to each other. They not only dont want to let the fans down, they dont want to let each other down. I remember they were asked, after all those scandals with kpop groups in Korea, if they had ever like...set down rules, like contracts or anything like that to keep themselves out of trouble. And the response was that no, not really rules. But that they had discussed the importance of the team and they all just sort of made a mutual decision to put the team first no matter what. No matter what temptations there may be. Individually they all have such a hunger for this, an ambition that really cannot be taught. In the behind the scenes, you can STILL see them monitoring not only their rehearsals but even their interviews and live shows. They never stop fighting to improve themselves in every aspect and its SO inspirational. The messages in the lyrics like love yourself are all beautiful but BTS is a living message to anybody striving to achieve anything. They are such good role models for that alone. As they say, we had to stan.

Yall need to watch some of Seo Taiji and Boys' songs like 'Come Back Home' (btw BTS did a remake of this one) and 'I Know'. Seo Taiji and Boys were the creators of Kpop in the 90s, the first korean boyband (YG, the ex-CEO of YG Entertainment, one of the Big 3, was a member of this group). Seo Taiji is actually still active as a solo artist, he had a song with IU that I really like called SOGYEOKDONG.

Hobi is the dance leader of BTS. While RM is an amazing leader in all other respects, when it comes to dancing, setting the standard for each performance, and making sure everyone puts out their absolute best on stage, that’s been Hobi’s job since before debut. It’s a side of him we (as ARMY) only ever catch glimpses of but it’s amazing to literally watch his entire demeanor change once it comes to analyzing his own or his members performance.

Monroe you said exactly what ARMYS think and BTS themselves said multiple times through lyrics and interviews. they don’t want to label themselves as kpop, they are so much more than this industry... their music and all they bring into the table is so unique and authentic, people should look at them just as ARTISTS because that is exactly what they are.
