- So after buying the first 5 things from different social media sites I decided to revisit Facebook ads and buy an entire face of makeup products from my Facebook feed, to see if they were personalized to me and also to see if they were any good! I got foundation, concealer, contour, blush, eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, eyebrows, and lipstick and even got to try out Facebook-famous products like Wunderbrow and Dermacol!

You are totally not crazy to put in concealer under foundation. That was actually how I was originally taught in cosmetology school. The idea was to use spot conceal anything a foundation wouldn't take care of so you could use a foundation that wasn't so full coverage and would look more natural on the skin but still have the extra coverage only where you needed.
Nowadays the advice is the other way around because you can see how much the foundation covered and add less unnecessary concealer, and blending the foundation can move your carefully placed spot concealer. Probably not a huge deal, though. I think Chinese beauty gurus do bigger areas like under-eye concealer and lighter concealer to highlight first, then foundation and spot conceal last. Man, makeup is a science, I just slap on some tinted serum for base makeup lmao

Late reply, the original has a few more shades, but since it's stage makeup made in the Czech Republic for Czech actors, and is sold in Czech stores mostly, there is really no need for more shades from the company's POV since this country is pretty uniformly white.

I must say this because this was going around, and this is important, at 11:26 THE FOUNDATION THAT SHE FOUND IN THIS VIDEO IS A FAKE. The real Dermacol is indeed quite full coverage, the website she chose is manufacturing fake ones. You can tell by the way it also has an off-center printing on the container as well as how it almost instantly drooped out. The legitimate formula does not do this.

The foundation you bought is fake. You didn't buy from the original seller. The original is such full coverage and doesn't shine like that. The real one you only have to use a dot or 2 for you whole face. Sense it got so much hype so many different brands started selling it. Their version of it lol

I think all the products you didn't like were either fake or bad copies of some other product. The Dermacol foundation was def fake, the eyeliner looks like an exact copy of a Tony Moly eyeliner and the highlighter looks like a copy of Cover FX Custom Enhancer Drops (they even used same shade names like Celestial). And apparently the lipstick photos were Colourpop's... All in all, don't buy makeup from Facebook. :'D

I bought the thrive causemetics eyeliner, advertised as having “micro pigments” that would keep it on your waterline and not smudge.
Well it was bullshit. Smeared off my waterline in about 10 minutes, made a mess of my eye makeup, and cost like almost 30$! That’s when i stopped buying crap from Facebook.
That mascara looks on point though. Might grab some.

I gotta agree with the others. Your Dermacol might be fake. First clue is that the box smells. That's a huge wtf. The normal product from the Czech Republic wouldn't smell. That flower pattern on the box is supposed to be really pale. There's other things about the packaging you can check. I mix mine with lighter foundations usually. There's no way I could dot on as much as you did and get away with it. It would look like a mask. You need so little.

The Dermacol might not be a regular foundation, but it definitely works as a cover-up. We previously had a "no visible tattoos" policy at my job, and in the summer months I sometimes used it to cover up a tattoo so I didn't have to cover it with clothes when it was really hot out.

Dermacol makeup is like borderline paint, it’s thick as heck and you only need a tiny bit. I like the eyeshadow and lipstick colors best. Love your videos so much 💜

I use dermacol as a concealer because you only need a little bit and it's very high coverage so it's perfect to cover my night time anxiety lol. I think it gets a bad rap because people don't know how to use it properly. It's very delicate and typically people jump in head first and use it like any other foundation and you just can't.

She’s buying stuff from the same mother store but from different suppliers in the US
that's what I thought, Saf would look crazy if she applied that amount of real Dermacol on her face.
Dermacol is only 10 bucks on amazon. I use it as concealer because it covers my really dark circles. All this hatred towards it is because people don't know how to use it properly. It's not a normal foundation you can't treat it as such and when you do of course you'll hate it but that's an error on you not the product.

hope It's a cheap and extremely effective way to seal a tube. The seal is simply made as part of the empty tube (same material), then the tube is filled from behind and folded shut.

You should try the real Dermacol foundation one day (buy from their official website - don’t trust anywhere else lol). It’s really nice and full coverage! I use it to add coverage to my more natural foundations. Great video! Always original content!

I love how every time I watch this I get an add for Demacol makeup before a video where saf gets a tube of fake dermacol
The foundation literally used dermacols foundation for the picture, they didn’t even try to hide that they were copying it lmao. Charlotte Tillbury is a big (and expensive) brand though, we used them a lot when I went to makeup school. They’re really good for professional makeup

Me too. At $75, it was covering 2 categories so you could say it was $37.50 per item when most of her other items were around $20. Still more expensive than the other individual items, but it was very lovely on her.

Dermacol has been around for years, it was and still kinda is very popular in stage makeup and stuff 😄😌
Can you and Tyler do that experiment for Facebook to see if it listens to your conversations for your ads. Basically for about a week every now and then talk about this one thing that you would have never searched for before so for example you randomly start talking about buying dog food for a week and at the end of the week you see if ads start coming up. I know there's a couple that did this but I can't remember who.
