Jae of Day6 was asked who his Seventeen bias was and he replied "Joshua. It's hard to meet people that still stay humble, polite and real at that level of fame but he's def one of them."

i was trying hard not to cry while watching this, it's 2023 there's so many things that's happening right now to joshua. we love you so much, josh. we're getting through this hard things that we've been facing right now. we're always here for you love.

One of the reasons Joshua and Jeonghan are best friends is ,they are so similar in the sense of always pushing themselves to their limits.
Both being hyungs (older than most of the members) yet joined very late and trained in shorter period. On top of that, Joshua also needed to overcome the language /cultural barrier.

Mingyu thought of what he does very comfortably, allowing himself to feel relaxed, happy and excited, but Joshua seems to always put pressure on himself, and I think it'd be good for him to try thinking more freely, like learning to just let go and enjoy the process of things with the members instead of always taking a strict work like mindset

As a Joshua stan, this video hit differently from the other ones :( I can’t even imagine going to a new country to pursue a career that others might find impossible. Especially since in asian culture education in hs and college is so stressed. Joshua did that. Like svt previously mentioned, he had a rlly hard time as a trainee. And that makes me appreciate him even more. To anyone who’s pursuing a dream like Joshua did I realllllyyy and sincerely wish you good luck and hope you have the support you need to succeed. I teared up when Joshua mentioned his mom and how he was able to endure his trainee days because of her. That really hits home for me. If there's one person who I don't want to disappoint and i just want to be proud of me-- it's my mom.

I love him so much, by him slowly lowering his voice about how all his friends went to college and him feeling like a burden to his mom really broke me

"I want to do better, I have to do better." Somehow, this statement of Hong Jisoo bothered me. This gave me the impression that a person like Jisoo is someone who's always running; as if he's trying to catch up on something, or someone. What's great about his mindset is how he regulates himself and tries to go easy, as much as possible, in order to regain energy and go on. When Hoshi mentioned Shua was like a long-distance runner, my previous impression was confirmed; but it still makes me worry at some point. Another thing was when he said "We've been able to grow so far." kind of implies the difference of how Jisoo percepts growth as something like a path of improvements than something that can be measured by height, or how people usually think of growth as an upward motion. And I appreciate that. Very much. Watching this episode portrays a new way of seeing life, especially growth itself. Good job Hong Jisoo! CARATS shall keep watching you, not only when you're at your best, but even at SEVENTEEN's worst situations. :)

I always come back to watch this video when I'm tired or miss Joshua. seventeen members always give carats of strength, and vice versa. joshua is the one who gives carat his positive energy and he deserves to be loved and get credit for his hard work, no matter how tired he is, he still gives a nice smile and kind and positive words. I've never even seen her cry, get angry, or get sick. I'm sure not only in my eyes, Joshua is very valuable in the eyes of many people who love him

I like it when he said he "bite the bullet" It feels when he was at the bottom of giving up as a trainee he realized he can't quit since he comes this far. And there's nothing he can't do since his options were not available as of that time. He said most of his friends were already in college. He must have felt like he was stuck in between two narrow paths where there was no option but to endure and risked it all. It must have been hard for him tbh. Imagine, their debut had been postponed not just once, twice but more. The group before them was badly managed, the company was on the verge of bankruptcy and Joshua who learned dancing, speaking Korean adjusting to their culture and all. It must have been such a roller coaster ride for him. But I am happy that he Indeed bit the bullet and hold on tightly because he achieved what he risked, endured, and worked hard for. You know we often see Joshua smiling while being polite despite being tired. His mannerisms are something to be looked up to. But I feel like he has a lot going into his mind that he finds it hard to say. Above all, I am a carat who is very happy about him opening up in this episode.

We really don't acknowledge Joshua's hardwork enough. He is not just a member who can speak English and translates for the group. He has lot to show and I hope people can see how amazing as an artist he is. He left his home country and came to a complete unknown country at such a young age. He couldn't speak Korean. He had to leave all his friends of high school. All because he wanted to make his mom proud. He fell that if he left in the middle then his mom would be sad. He is such a nice person. He always takes care of the member in his own way. Jisso-ah we carst will always root for you.

내가 편두통이 진짜 자주 와서 아는데 머리 아플 때 사람 진짜 예민해지고 아무것도 하기 싫고 자고 싶은데 슈아 진짜 힘들었겠다. 어떻게 표정 한 번 안 찌푸리고 머리 아픈 티를 안 낼 수가 있지..? 두통이랑 불면증이 같이 오면 너무 괴로움..

세새낮뜨 보고 보러왔는데... 정말 한결같이 목표를 정하고 거길 향해서 열심히 한다는 걸 느꼈어 너가 있어서 우리 캐럿들이 정말 행복하고 자랑스러워 항상 행복하자 슈아야 오늘 2관왕 축하해

I'm so proud of Shua for working so hard and not giving up. He was still a kid when he had to travel to Korea to become a trainee, that was definitely a big responsibility and stressful time, especially for him, who didn't really know Korean. Even to this day we can see him being more comfortable to speak english rather than Korean, which I think is absolutely fine, to be honest the fact that some people can fluently speak not only one language, amazes me.
But when Joshua said that he only slept for 2 hours a month, that was sad to hear. The pressure he felt, it must've been hard for him, when he also thought he should do his best, should push himself to the point of breaking.
I just hope, he knows, that It's okay to take some time if you feel sick or tired, It's okay to sleep, I still hate the fact that their schedules are so packed, no surprise that it can be difficult to concentrate to feel well with that amount of work.
I admire him for being a hard-working person and honestly the fact that he's been in fame for so long, but still has the same personality, is still such a sweet human being, is just wow.
We should be thankful to Jeonghan, for being by Shua's side when he was about to give up. Despite, not being able to communicate well because of the language barrier, they still stayed by each-other's side and saved each-other. And his mom, for believing in Shua and obviously the whole Seventeen for being there for him.
