Other people assume: that the concert is a job for me, also for someone on a plane it is a work schedule but Mingyu has different thoughts, according to himself the concert as a place to channel energy and passion, he also felt his heart pounding when boarding a plane like going to vacation. Mingyu considers life to be the same as a game, just like a game character who learns while developing, he enjoys what he does.

My heart hurts thinking about all that is happening rn. I cant help but look for videos with Mingyu and wish that no one should go through any of this. I have never believe in revenge as a solution. It might be because of how I was brought up. If he really is like what the accusations are, he should take all the time he has to reflect and come back when its the right time. Life is like a moving wheel. Sometimes you are up, sometimes you are down. Rather than making demands for him to leave, I hope people take the positive side out of this. I love Mingyu's mindset. The way he knows what he wants to do, the way he learns new things, I just admire him. As he said he's got a lot of hobbies and doesn't have a particular goal, honestly I think It's so interesting to see that. Him deciding to film a whole snapshoot mv, especially deciding to film Dino in the middle of the street was such a fun and interesting idea that wasn't planned. I think as a person he's got a laid-back personality, he's a chill person, but not lazy. Even if he finds things hard, he just changes the way he sees them, changes it into something positive and that's what I like about him, well it's one of the many things I like about him. He's confident in himself, he trusts himself and his members, addresses them as his family, it's so sweet to see that. Seventeen being supportive of each-other and adoring each-other is so admirable.
Also when he said that life's like a game I agree, I think he enjoys gaming, so i think he also enjoys life the same way.

When Mingyu said he didn't have a goal, I was suprised. You'd expect idols to say that they want to be the best and get lots of rewards, but he never said that. He just wants to do what he loves to the best of his ability and see where it takes him. But at the same time, it relieved me because I'm in year 10 and my school has a subject called "careers" where they encourage you to think about what subjects you're going to choose for senior years, what uni you want to go to, what job you want, etc. And it just stresses me out because I literally have no idea what I want to do with my life. Even though I'm only in year 10, it absolutely terrifies me to think about the future. The change can be overwhelming and the pressure of getting a good job and making your family proud and whatever is even more stressful. I literally nearly cried the first day of high school because I knew that I was growing up and getting closer to adulthood, which terrified me. It was until I saw my friends that I calmed down. But what happens when I feel that overwhelming fear again? I know that I can't always rely on my friends so what will I do? Now, that Mingyu said he didn't have a proper goal, I was relieved. Because now, he's part of a band with his 12 brothers who are known worldwide and its just amazing how far they've come. So I'll follow what Migyu said, "It might be stupid not to have a goal, but I don't have one. If I just keep going, won't I find myself going beyond such goal?"
Thank you Kim Mingyu for making me realise that I don't need a proper goal to be successful. Yes, change can be scary, but its for the best. I just need to do what makes me happy and thats when I'll truly be successful. ❤️❤️

i recently became a carat and it actually was because of Mingyu. I saw a weverse live video of him and it made me curious how a group can have such respect and genuine love for each other that you don't feel sad if you have least parts or responsabilities than others in the group. After seeing some videos, i came to realise that they genuinely love and sopport each other and they understand the complicity of dividing parts equally, and the importance of being a team and working hard to increase results that will end up beneficing all of them.
i came across this video and i'm proud to be a fan of such a good group with a healthy relationship and i want to learn their mentality and optimism for living.

I always admire Kim Mingyu's life lessons and perceptions. I find his words fruitful and meaningful. He really has a smart mouth as Wonwoo referred him to be a Research book. Whoahh. This episode of HTR just overflows with wisdom. Just like what one member said (I think it was Wonu), Mingyu has a smart mouth. Mingyu on the oustide is clumsy and makes corny jokes, is bullied (jokingly) by other members, but deep down, he is actually a very wise one and he doesn’t keep grudges on any of his brothers in svt. He is responsible, reliable, talented, passionate, loving, caring and intelligent.
What he said about stifling emotional differences just hit me hard. Coz it is true and it is deep.
It’s keeping the cool in the midst of an argument. It’s looking at criticisms, and fine tuning them to see the lesson. It’s managing our emotions. These things change the quality of our lives.
I adore Seventeen, and I definitely love Kim Mingyu sunbaenim.
