Mayweather vs Maidana 1 was still one of my favorite fights to watch because Floyd fought in the inside. When you know all Floyd had to do is fight in the outside like he did in the second fight. So it was a good fight that Floyd won.

Second fight maidana also changed styles and abandoned strength and conditioning and swarming his man. He focused on boxing and trying to land a straight clean shot that had mayweather hurt at some point

However, Mayweather already had control of the fight. By not fighting on the inside like the first fight. But yes you're right. Maybe this time Maidana had a different plan but I feel like he didn't try to close the gap as often as the 1st. But then again Mayweather chose to fight in the inside.

Mayweather also wanted to test him out and see what he's got, was a brilliant strategy and showed mayweather had dog in him to slug it out with Maidana. But he didn't realise how tough Chino was and made necessary adjustments to get the win.

Every sports writer but one had Floyd winning. One had a draw so out of like 30 media member of the media none had him winning. I think 7 rounds to 5 is a good score. He gave Floyd a good fight. Should have lost a point for the low blow in the clinch when the ref said break. Can't do that. There's no tin foil on your head conspiracy. Floyd just won he's a better fighter.
