She is so humble. When tesla was 180 and people would make fun of her when she said it will hit 3k. Now tesla at 800 she hasnt come out to say "see i told you" or brag. Need to invest on ark etf.
Look nobody can predict price, not even Warren Buffet himself, the greatest investor can't do so. Tesla is doing great but doesnt mean it will hit 3k or 4k. we will have to see how much support and development can tesla really push.

True! I've been an ARK investor for about 5 years. Funds can be volatile as measured by weekly or monthly Stdev. Overall returns are nice though. And, she is way too humble. I'd be jumped around on @CNBC @WJS @Barrons screaming "IN YO FACE !!""

Nobody can become financially successful over night. They put in background work but we tend to see the finished part. Fear is a dangerous component, hindering us from taking bold steps we need in other to reach our goals.
It is not always fear. Sometimes realistic factors discourage people from reaching their goals in life. For instance, I've tried investing in the stock market several times but always got discouraged by fluctuations of stock value.

Most people research nothing and just follow the herd. Cathie is very sharp obviously but her funds are high risk. Look at the drop we saw this week. Weak handed people have already sold. If you can't handle that level of volatility (I can without issue, I trade leaps) them don't trade her investments. Most rookie traders can't handle market moves like that without having an anxiety attack lol.

Of course we all know in hindsight just how spot-on her prognoses were (except she could not foresee a pandemic breaking out just months later of course) ! Kudos. She'll continue to be in the right investment space, I am sure.
But is it just me - I thought each and every time the camera took shots of the audience almost all of them seemed sitting there, disbelieving or, at worst, outright bored. And nobody dared to ask something at the end, they did not even try. Somebody that got real excited would've tried no matter what.
I think the audience, 1.5 years back, did not really appreciate her great presentation. Maybe they regret it now.
I for one discovered her work only some months ago. Better late than never. It paid off immediately. It is worth listening to her. She is one bright funds manager!
And of course many of us value investors stayed the f$&k away from everything she touched because we knew there was no value or fundamentals in her strategy.
I’m sure no bored audience member regretted not buying her BS. -70% average in her funds. Buying high, selling low, poor investment choices.
At this point, the SP500 has outperformed ARK by 20 percentage points in the last 5 years. Warren and Munger (the two old farts that allegedly lost their touch) returned 90% in the past 5 years vs 50% ARK.
Now ARK sells Tesla as it goes down and buys GM, which previously mocked for being a legacy old school automaker. So much for innovation.
wow wish I listened to this last year, still not too late to get into ARK right now. I've come to accept that tech growth stocks will always be 'overvalued'. Here's to exponential growth =)

BTC is not a store of value or a replacement for Fiat. I doubt Fiat will survive long term, but BTC isn’t the answer to a world reserve currency, for one, it’s traded in US dollars BTC/USD. Seems you’re a teenager fantasizing over your half a Bitcoin in savings.

Here comes another old video that came late to my notice. Cathie Woods has done a remarkable job in the investment and finance sector, and her contributions as a financial advisor can't be undermined. I started investing when I heard someone in a conference like this mention where he made over $1.5 million in 8 months, now I wonder if there are ways to repeat this.
It really isn't rocket science to make 7 figures in a calendar year through investing. Firstly, you need to map out a plan on how to achieve this goal.
An important yet overlooked fact is to start with a substantial amount of capital, and also to get a good coach so that your capital doesn't go to waste.

Most time having knowledge or insight about a particular activity can as well be a pleasing exercise. I can boldly say that forex and crypto trading is one of the profitable money exchange services that elevates investors and their financial status.

Thanks to Cathie for mentioning Wright's Law. I'd never heard it referred to specifically by that name, and with that definition. But it's profound. Many of you presumably have heard of Swanson's Law, which refers to production of PV cells. That's just a special case of Wright's Law. But where Wright's Law refers to "a consistent amount," Swanson's Law differs only in attaching a number-in that case, it's a 20% drop for every doubling of production.
Her audience was overwhelmed with all the info, they couldn't come up with a single question. Cathie certainly is exceptional!

ARKK ETF seems to have been performing well overall. 2 of their holdings, which are number one and three in their top holdings...Square and Tesla, I bought individually outside of the ETF. I wasn't certain on DNA sequencing or 3D printing, so I trust ARK on their choices.
I had tesla in a different fund sottish mortgage and it more or less single handily made the fund double since i bought it.
Cathie Woods is investing in Tesla which is disrupting the transportation and energy industry

The neatest thing about leaving the rat race is retiring comfortably is that I do not have to be part of the rat race anymore, I get to watch and get amused by rats scurrying as if possessed.

I recently bought ARKK (their main innovation ETF). Might buy some of their other ETFs. Been a fan of Cathie Wood and ARK Invest for a long time. Big fan of their focus on disruptive innovation. Very forward thinking and they have great content on their website.
I try to manage my emotional response when I consider the world moving out of physical money. It is scary. However, this analysis suggests the associated technologies are being consumed by the poorest demographies towards minimizing risk and bootstrapping out of poverty, which I welcome. Great analysis and presentation. It would seem to be a good time to invest in asymmetrical banking.
