from a dancer perspective this is truly a masterpiece. the choreography is so intricate and the imagery is phenomenal. every move goes so perfectly with the theme of the song. and i must say, the fact that sunmi co-wrote amd co-produced this makes me like it a thousand times more. it's not a dull sexy concept forced on a young girl by her company. she's a mature woman and the one who CHOSE this concept and that's why she does it so well. 'TAIL' paints the perfect picture to what happens when great artists such as sunmi, the choreographers and the dancers unite; greatness.

this somewhat gets at the heart of SUNMI's artistry but not quite. more than crossing lines, she is always playing right at the border and has been since day 1. that's what gives her such a mysterious aura. she is the rare pop artist (there are great performers yes, but few actual artists in pop in general IMO) who has a darker and more erotic approach as opposed to more flashy in-your-face sexiness. in a lot of ways i find her erotically charged oeuvre much more transgressive than her flashy contemporaries'. it's thrilling in a way pop music isn't today.
