Iโm loving the iPhone close ups I didnโt realize how much the beauty lights on your main camera make even the worst concealer look good
Samantha Hatt - Exactly what I was trying to say. That first concealer looked amazing from our usual angle and camera. But once we got close we realized what she was talking about with the creasing and tackiness.

The BEST thing in this video is the phone view so people see what beauty lights do, so they dont feel so bad about their skin. Some spots etc is only natural. We are not robots.

I love thataylaa videos and how she does โnatural light checkinsโ on her foundation reviews, and she zooms In and shows the real life texture of the makeup!! Beauty lights make a huge difference!
It seems like she's the only one who really knows how to zoom so you can see everything!
exactly. since I turned 26 my under eye skin changed drastically and I thought something was wrong with me because all these 40 year olds in ig and youtube seem to have perfect skin. when youre 18 you can wear whatever brand, even the cheapest concealer will look amazing but now everything collects in my fine lines but apparently thats just normal

Went and bought this after I heard Tati speak so highly about it and sorry it's a no go for me. Drying, cakey, thick, doesn't blend well and when it dries, it dries super dry into lines and creases and wrinkles. Not at all what I had in mind. Awful. Wasted money.
Ha, I'm here only to hear her on the CANDID concealer. I absolutely love it.

When you are talking about a product, can you have the product somewhere in the screen (like the name of it or the actual picture of it). It'll help to differentiate between the products or if you are trying it in a different shade.... The up close video was VERY helpful. Thank you! ๐ฅฐ

I would absolutely love a video just like this with setting powders! So often powders look great far away but up close they can look drying. I love this style of video!
She recently did an entire best of the best Setting Powder Video like a month or 2 ago!!! Just search it in her videos.
I have dark circles and I've tried EVERY concealer over the years and the Revlon Candid is now my holy grail. Perfect concealer for me

Have you been using the setting powder as well? It is amazing even if you dont want to wear foundation but you want to smooth out the texture of the face it's perfect

@@abbycaca123 I'm not sure about oily skin because I'm on the dryer skin type. But I can tell you it didnt dry out my skin and if I did have dry patches it didnt accentuate them. The only thing you can really do is just give it a try. I've easily seen the product go on sale for 30% off here in Canada so it wouldn't hurt to try.

I love this style of video. This kind of review is my favourite youโve ever done. I find personally, when I watch reviews and all you see is the face with all the pretty light, I immediately want to purchase because it looks so good, and I know the lights make it look better but I donโt realize how much. Then I get home and it looks so different on me, I feel like Iโm going something wrong. This was so reassuring and gives me so much more confidence while doing my makeup to see how everything looks so close up(the way I see it on myself) this is why I love you so much, your not afraid to go above and beyond for your audience

I really like the new perspective from the phone close ups! I feel so much better about my skin after seeing that you also have hyperpigmentation, I never truly believed you when you said it before lol!

You should do a โwill it oxidizeโ video where you test high end & drugstore foundations. You could also give tips on how to work around oxidizing foundations! โค๏ธโค๏ธ

I love everything about this video format. The fact that you're honest about the products you don't like but then you state products you do like from that brand, I appreciate that. Yes, love this!! Up close so we can actually see how it looks and covers!! I have been struggling a lot with my very dark circles and how to conceal them. This is so helpful.
On the claimed favorite drugstore concealer, Milani - the cell phone up close was outed.

And I'm living for it. Beauty lights are lovely... but I need to see that some of these perfect looking people have real flaws like me! Makes me feel so much better about my makeup application and my own flaws. I hope she keeps doing the close ups.
@Rosezliving it's not the spots... but that her skin does have a little bit of texture. It's still beautiful skin, but more realistically beautiful skin. And seeing how makeup looks on it rather than the airbrushed look beauty lights give... I appreciate that!

YES! I love actually seeing the imperfections and how the make up actually performs! Iโm all for soft focus but sometimes in beauty videos I donโt always see what you see when it comes to creasing, darkness, blemishes etc.
I also think I need concealer to โthe areas I need a little somethingโ and then I end up concealing my whole face, body, life ๐

This was SO helpful. When I can see the product up close like this it helps me understand what to expect from the product. Whereas when I see the product in a medium frame I really can't grasp how the product is looking bc 1) the camera is too far away and 2) the flood of lights make everything look flawless. Thank you so much for this video. Studio lighting doesn't usually show the creasing effect concealers can have and seeing that up close was really helpful for me. No one wants to have creases and look cake-y and draw attention to the areas they're trying to conceal. And even better you also focused this video on drugstore products that are more affordable for anyone's budget. Loved this video!!

Tati!! Can you do a BB/CC/tinted moisturizer video? You totally don't need to go through the trouble of trying on everything at once, but it would just be awesome to get an opinion! I'm not super enthusiastic about foundation, so I'm hoping to find a softer type of cream that works.

I love love *LOVE* the Revlon Candid Concealer so much that I use it as a foundation โบ. Never creases, so bendable, lasts over 8 hours, not drying, looks natural if you apply 1 layer, omg it's such a good concealer!

Love the phone close ups and wish that everyone would do this especially when it comes to concealers but I know that will never happen.
charlene augustyniak thataylaaa does this and even has wear tests and flash tests! She does foundation tests under natural lighting as well.
