You mentioned foundations that are like your skin but better. Would love to see a video dedicated to makeup products that are “you but better” ie your lips but better lipsticks, foundations, powders that sink in, etc. Especially since now. Makeup you could fool people with.

I'll just reiterate what everyone else is saying - this background is EVERYTHING. It's so much more personable-feeling. Like an elevated version of your earlier versions when you recorded in your bedroom.
I don't know, I loved the make up studio she had in LA. It was like a make-up playroom. Everyone wanted to come over and play in it. I loved when Erica would be walking around in the backroom rummaging through the drawers - I thought 'wow, so much fun in those drawers!!".

I can't remember what study it was or what time period, but a women's magazine noticed that during times of financial depression or recession the purchases of nail polish and lipstick went through the roof. It's an affordable way to make yourself feel better about yourself, give yourself a little self-care and I think we can all state that when you look good, you feel good. I think we all need a little more of the small items that can still make you feel special like a new lipgloss or new hair color. Thanks for mentioning the feeling of guilt we can have Tati, but I'm grateful you share the products through different price ranges. Take care everyone and each other.

I’ve heard this before. I think it was during WW2. The KRplus channel called English Heritage did a video about it called “1940s World War II Makeup Tutorial” or something like that.

She just had Charlotte Tilbury on her channel and she put her foundation in some of the worsts...that's how you know her reviews are not biased

I honestly love the natural lighting Tati. Don't get me wrong, your studio lighting makes you look even more FLAWLESS, but this feels more relatable.

•savannah• try doing honey masks. Just apply it to your face everyday and keep it for around 15 minutes. Or papaya masks work too. I used to have a lot of acne and that worked a lot for me

My skin hates not wearing daily makeup. I think the damn makeup regulates my face. My skincare has been the same, in point and regular. But....she's mad.

Around 13:00 you mention how foundation reacts different on everyone. Could you do a primer & foundation perfect duos? I know there’s a science to which primer to use for certain foundations, but it’s so hard to read/comprehend ingredient labels!
Madison.rose water based go better together, oil based go better together. It’s water based if water(aqua) is in the top 2-3 ingredients. Oil based will have words with Cone/-methicone, or -siloxane listed near the top, hope this helps💕

Also has to do a lot with your skin type, I always ask my guests what their skincare routine is and how their skin is. I also ask about the type of finish they want before recommending anything not all combos we’ll work for oily skin or dry skin because everyone wants different finishes. Hope all is well 💗
Tati, you need to come back! You are my go to person for everything make up, I’m in my 40s and everything you recommend is right on the money. Whatever you’re going through leave it behind, are used to look forward to your videos everyday.
I missed this setup, the natural light and candles - so chill and relaxing as opposed to the bright white. Like your studio but this is just relaxing and Zen to me
I am SO obsessed with how Tati looks in the recent videos from Seattle. The natural lighting, the minimal background everything. SO good. Don’t get me wrong, I like her studio at home. But this just feels so much more cozy and like I’m talking with a friend.

Video ideas: I LOVE half and half face videos. Whether it's half drugstore half high end, half cool tones half warm tones, half matte half dewy/highlighty, half embracing very fair skin half embracing very tanned skin, half suited for younger skin vs half suited for mature skin, half best suited for/tips dry skin, the other half for those with oily skin etc etc. Idk why I enjoy these videos so much!
I would love a go-to travel set (what’s in your 1 week travel bag?), then a look at fave sheer/low coverage foundations/BB Creams, the SPF that doesn’t break you out, your skincare routine.... I think I got all of them 😅

lol me too.... I suddenly realize I'm just looking at how beautiful she looks and just not listening, like she's naturally pretty, and although she has a lot of makeup on/or glam makeup, she still looks very pretty, I k ow that sounds wierd, but sometimes when she does glam it's like noooooo, bring it down a notch, she's just naturally so beautiful inside and out.

L’Oreal infallible 24 hour fresh where is my all-time favorite! I’m already on my fourth bottle! It’s all I use! I just turned 40, and I have melasma, fine lines and acne spots and it’s only thing that seems to stay on my face when I blow my nose and covers me well
